This video will demonstrate 2 common beginner Elbow Grips. Please understand this is a demonstration, not the complete tutorial.
Note: Elbow grip and Forearm grip are usually interchangeable, so if one feels better to you work with that grip. One is not “better” or more “correct” than the other. The grip you feel most comfortable with is often determined by the diameter of the pole, the size of your body, and the length of your limbs.
Side Grip – The pole is placed into the elbow pit with the pole at your side.
Front Grip – The pole is placed into the elbow pit with the pole in front of you.
