Dancing In Heels: Day 27
Duration: 00:39:46
Today you’ll work on inverting with heels on. However, if you don’t have a solid controlled momentum invert, use the walking with heels drills today instead of invert reps. This drill is placed at the end of the videos.
Pro tip: Drilling the first half of controlled momentum inverts is a great way to build strong neural pathways which will become second nature. Even in heels it will appear that you’re floating up to the pole instead of struggling to pull your body weight. It takes practice, keep going! Practice makes progress, let go of the outcome and enjoy the process.

Below is a list of direct links to each full length tutorial you worked on in today’s session. Remember you only need to click on these if you’d like more help or information.
I’m not quite ready to fully invert (I don’t have crash mats yet and my floors are polished concrete, so hell no until I’ve got those), but I did the hop part with and without heels! Good practice for them though, I’m in no hurry. 🙂
Oh boy, dancing on concrete is no fun. That’s what I have and I didn’t use my pole at all until I got my flooring laid down. So I totally get that!
On the upside, it’s pretty smooth for dragging dem heels. But I’m SUPER cautious about anything involving spins or getting upside down.
