Its very important to find the joist in the ceiling so that your Xpole will be stable. That is why you need a studfinder. When installing your Xpole it will tell you the samething so that your pole is secure and safe!
    Happy Poling!

My question is have you checked for your joists yet…because sometimes they are not always centered in the room…you’ll have to find those first. As for the ceiling fan…here is a link I found to remove it:

I hope this helps and good luck!

Nothing is working and I am gettin MAD! So I signed up for Veenas Lessons last night and I was so excited… I learned some new stuff and I noticed that the ceiling was making a weird sound and then when I looked, it seemed as though the pole had shifted a bit. So I took it down but first the nut thingy was stuck so I had do borrow a wrench from a friend and now the two largest pole sections are stuck together and my husband won’t help me and I want to pole tonight. I am so mad I am using the shock method and everything I just don’t know what to try…I’ll I know is that I want my pole back up asap!

Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in. I mean pants are definately not the best to pole in but you gotta do what makes you happy. I am not the smallest girl and I don’t prefer to wear shorts however they have come to grow on me since I took up pole dancing. Some people might feel comfortable wearing only booty shorts and thongs but not me! Do whatever you need to keep on pole dancing! Its more important that you are confident! I hope this helps!

How tall is your ceiling? I had a hard time installing mine too but it was because I wasn’t adjusting it enough. Good Luck!

All you have to do is find the beat of the song and start counting but not all music goes to and eight count. But once you find it you can slow down or speed up the count to your liking! Good Luck!

Yes my hands are killing me but I think its because I grip to hard and the studio I’ve been going to has brass poles. My pole doesn’t seem to hurt my hands as much.
