Beginner Level 1: Day 3
Duration: 00:27:38
Today you’ll practice a few different styles of walks. Have fun with these and make them your own—your walks don’t have to look just like mine.
Pro tip: It’s easy to feel like your body movements should look exactly like mine or someone else’s, but unless you’re training to be part of a dance troupe, you can explore your movement. You don’t have to look just like everyone else. As long as you’re paying attention to the cues and performing your skills correctly and within your ability, you’re doing great!

That 1st pole kick was a little tricky, but ended being my favorite
I like that one too!
Day 3 done. I liked the second pole kick I was unaware my leg could go as high as it went.
It’s nice when we surprise ourselves!
day 3 ✅
Wow!! I can’t believe how much basic stuff I’ve been missing and then wondering why Im finding progression so difficult. Thanks Veena!! Ur amazing!
I’m happy to help!
Day 3 done!
@sinfultorixoxoxo3778 I had the exact same experience. I thought talking around the pole was just walking around the pole. But there’s an art to it I was missing.
Another fun day! Thank you, Veena!
These lessons are showing me just how uncoordinated and confused about my body movements I really am! The pole kicks look like they should be easier than they are for me
Things that look simple are often deceptively difficult ðŸ˜
Day 3 💯✅ 💕❤️💕
🎉🎉🎉🎉
day 3 complete the pole kicks were so fun! I have noticed its easier for me to start new moves/general practice with my non dominant side so I can get in as much practice as my dominant side 😀
Glad you had fun 🤩 I’m often the same when it comes to learning new hula hoop skill. I can do it better at first in my left side!
