That’s too bad the names are so different. At one point the pole community was trying to unit and have a lost of names that were standard. I was part of it at first, not sure what ever happened. Would have been nice. I try to use descriptive names.

Have you taken a look at the hammock tutorials here? https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view_category/Hammock
If not give them a watch and see if it seems like something you’d like. They’re fairly inexpensive to buy and as long as you can find a stud and drill into a joist and use a lag bolt you’re good to go as far as set up.

Yes, that was the goal, you can do this while away from home 🙂

I do have a beginner friendly xmas workout routine to follow https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/5dde98ea-00f0-404a-8c13-4725ac110002

Hi there! I don’t have a specific holiday routine but you can try any of these found in the routine section https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view_category/routines-pole-lessons and add some holiday flare.
I feel like this routine would be cute done to xmas music https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/5e6a4f4c-73a8-4328-bdc6-5ac2ac110005
This one is a nice slow, sexyish one https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/611af98d-5228-4ddc-978a-2294ac110005
We work on routines in beginner level 3 program https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view_category/Beginner_Level_3_Program
I’d love to make a new xmas routine but I just moved to a new house and don’t have a pole up yet…the ceilings are very tall and I need to get new pieces for extend my pole and add a vaulted ceiling mount.

I’d say still begin with the 30 day take off program or at the very least watch all of the videos for it and read the descriptions, if you find it’s too easy. There’s a lot of great info and safe training tips in this program. Then move on to level 1.
-
Welcome Allison! Please let me know if you have any questions. I also suggest trying the 30 day no pole program https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view_category/30_Day_NO_POLE_Beginner_program or if you have a pole at home try the 30 day take off program https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view_category/30-day-take-off

AdministratorNovember 26, 2021 at 3:10 am in reply to: My knees swivel slightly during the side pole hold/invert grip. How can I correct this?Hi! That’s common and as you become stronger it won’t be an issue. Also make sure you have the hips way in front of the pole.
-
Front pole hold needs more back and chest strength…keep going through the program, you don’t need to spin yet 😊
-
If you’re looking for one that doesn’t need support, I’d go with the x-stage as it can be used with out the top pole making it shorter. If you’re mobile home has sturdy enough studs that’s where you would place any pole, removable or permanent. So first I’d see what the situation is with the build of the home. The stage is very expensive.

Oh, could also be week adductors not allowing you to keep pushing.
-
Could be hamstring flexibility if you’re having trouble with the reach down.
A video would be super helpful in trouble shooting. Also you could join the new pole community and I can meet you live to work on it. This is the link for Pole Pals 🙂 https://discord.gg/BYwA8xhz

I’ll be redoing the stretches first as I want the ADV section to focus on flexibility so I have a lot to do before it’s ready but I’m excited!
-
Starting to work on this! It will be a while before the Adv. is ready to go as I’ll have to create levels 1-3 for that section like the others and I can’t start on that until we move.
For now I’m going to plan as much as I can, between prepping for the move. This way I’ll be ready to film once I have a studio again!

The amazon ones are high wasted as well. Yes anything that will actually grip the pole will need to be that “wet look” PVC fabric.
