I’m way up in the balcony, right side, row V. I’ll have to remember to bring binoculars https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

And somehow, despite the odds, Sissybuns and I are sitting next to each other. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif No idea how that happened – I don’t think we even got our tickets on the same day!

Yup I’ll be on the right side of the balconey, row V https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I don’t usually have a problem catching myself in the mirror, but in my pole room and I mirrirs on 3 of the 4 wallas around me so that might actually be why LOL.

Recording yourself is super helpful. Try it. You’ll be suprised.

I wouldn’t encourage learning with gloves because like Empy said you can’t spin in them and then she might get so used to them that she can’t do anything without them.

I think calluses are part of the deal, just like bruises.

As long as you’re gonna pay him back and he’s not hurting for the money right now I don’t see a problem with friends loaning friends money. He might be the angel in disguise that you’ve been waiting for. LOL

It sounds like this talent show wasn’t meant to be for you. The college may not be ready for it, ya know? And that’s ok. In due time my friend. In due time. LOL

FYI You’re a kick ass dancer and it’s their loss.

That was so informative and helpful Lilbit! Thanks!

I am really looking to slim down beofre the competition later this month so I’m gonna try giving up my beloved evening wine in the days leading up to the show and see if that helps. I already cut simple sugars, but now I plan to eliminate all forms of glucose and hopefully my belly won’t being hanging over my shorts too much while I dance. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

so, i’ve got some kind of fetish for bondage-y stuff, thought i would share my two most recent shoe buys in case anyone else is interested!

these took a bunch of hunting to find. apparently they’re discontinued, this http://www.flirtcatalog.com/showproduct.aspx?ProductID=85183&SEName=6-inch-sexy-platfrom was the only site where the shoes were reasonably priced and htey had a selection of sizes. they’re made by the highest heel, and htey were $46 + S&H:

    https://www.studioveena.comhttp&#58://cdn.flirtcatalog.com/images/product/icon/67/67BONDAGE_1_.jpg

    then there are these pleasers:
    https://www.studioveena.comhttp&#58://www.ris-klingerie.com/gadgettablet/thumbnail.img?picture.image.url=%2Ffiles%2F838274%2Fuploaded%2Fdelight-662-b.jpg&picture.width.max=200&picture.height.max=200&picture.image.mask.apply=false&pid=1265043007335

which i got for $40 through endless.com with S&H free overnight. i’ve found that if you find out hte model # and manufacturer and type it into google’s shopping search engine (http://www.google.com/products" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), you can find the best prices pretty easily.

Glitter hips has that second pair of shoes (I think) and she wore them to my house and they are beyonf cute!!!!! So damn sexy!!!!

I too would like some sexy fitness clothing…but I would also like to find some tops that are sexy yet supportive…I don’t have big boobs…but they are a little tired from all the nursing I did! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif Bottoms that are made for those of us who have a full badonkadonk and hips…that stay put and look cute. Unfortunately boyshorts just look like granny panties on me…lmao! I’m so nit picky about what i want…maybe I should make them myself…hehe

You should make some. I’d buy em!

Okay the vids up. Can I apologise in advance for my booty kind of hanging out of my panties! Had intended to put on a pair of shorts, but got too excited about inverting and forgot, lol!

You better not apologize for the booty!!!!

I tend to try all my moves both sides and just started doing my choppers both sides, just figured out how to do SMs both sides… and in class some instructors emphasise both sides. It gets so confusing though, I often forget which side is my best for a particular move and go for it on my bad side and make it messy in class when I’m meant to be showing my best shot before we move onto something else. Oops. Oh and be CAREFUL doing your first big moves on the weak side. Went for a spin mode Jamilla to Butterfly on my strong Jamilla but weak Ex. Butterfly side and nearly popped my shoulder out with momentum and fumbling :S Strong vs weak sides really messes up combos.

All the more reason to be balanced. LOL. I’m so far from being balanced LOL.

I’m an nurse, not a headache specialist but…I think you may be having migraines. One of the symptoms of a migraine is the nausea. if you’re having bad headaches once a week I think that’s pretty frequent and not normal. Headaches or migraines can be brought on by many things and stress is a major factor.
I think you should make a trip to the doctor about your headaches and see if there is something you could do. It’s not cool to be in pain. Ever.

I second that and thanks for pointing out for those that maybe still have a chance to be balanced before it’s too late!

I try to work my bad side but it usually only happens after I’ve tired out my good side, and by then I’m frikkin exhausted anyway and can’t do crap.

I do however get a kick out of watching myself on video on my bad side. I suck! LOL Big time!

I too fight the battle of the belly bulge. I never really had a really flat and sexy tummy. Having 3 kids surely didn’t help that. I have had to work work work work work hard to get my tummy to where it is now and it’s still not flat. It’s the bane (spellcheck) of my existence. I lose weight everywhere else so quickly. Boobs, ass….al the places where I wouldn’t mind some curves but that damn gut stays there.

I’m like you glitty. The body type of my mom and sisters all consist of a belly pouch. I know I’ll never have one of those model thin figures and I don’t want that but damn….if I could just wearc whatever and not have to worry about the tgut factor I would be so happy!

I think the key for you is to def kick up the cardio. Burn baby burn. try it out and see how it goes.

I’m not one for choosing plastic surgery over excercise but someties excercise doesn’t get you what you want and if you gotta get the docs involved to ake you feel better, so be it. If I could afford it I probably would have had a tummy tuck a long time ago LOL.

Hurray for you! I like when inverting happens on accident. That usually means you were working on other things and weren’t rushing into it and then it just happened because you’re ready. I’m happy for you.

February 8, 2010 at 5:16 pm in reply to: SCARY? Why is it SCARY?

The whole headline has all the hallmarks of a manufactured controversy to get readers to look at the ads! The use of the adjective "scary" doesn’t even make sense to me. Scared of what? That she might fall and hurt herself? That she’s too sexy?

Well, Voelle of Malaysia has said that the men in her country are "scared to death" of her…I take that to mean that in in some cultures (and the US and Western countries have places like this, too) a really beautiful woman being sexy is a little scary to some guys. LOL, well, that’s probably true. It’s worse now than ever. Young men just can’t seem to step up to the plate and even ask a girl out. So maybe that’s whats "scary"!!

Ha Ha, I just realised I am talking about my son–my current frustrating topic!

    Joel

    LOL.

I have gotten some from electriqboutique and they were really fast with shipping and even faster with emailing me a return label so I could send them back when I ordered the wrong size. They have a last pairs section with some really good deals.

February 8, 2010 at 4:59 pm in reply to: Who’s in What USPDF Workshop?

I’d rather a workshop that works on polishing moves. I think that all levels can do this because I think we all can stand to work on eveyrthing from a beginner spin to an advanced hold. Sometimes advanced polers need to step back and refine some of the moves they got a long time ago and beginners/intermediates will also get the chance to learn something new as well as polish moves they already have.

I think people get intimidted sometimes because they think the workshop is just going to be above their head and too fast paced for them to keep up. If you try make it clear that it’s for all levels, that might help.

    Thank you sissy! =)
Of all nights to get my first pair of pleaser platforms in the mail..i did.. so above all the boxes around my pole, i took a whirl around the pole and tried the new shoes out… i almost broke myself trying to walk back to the shoebox! =)

LOL, I damn near sprained my ankle the first time I tried on my first 7 inch heels. It’s still dangerous to wear those….I don’t think I’ll ever get used to that much height LOL.

This is a move that I hated and I now love! Before I go into it, I squeeze my legs AND my butt muscles and it works for me! Plus, once I engage the glutes, I feel like I could stay up forever–or long enough to peel off a top!

Hmmmm….I never tried squeezing my butt cheeks……I’m squeezing them as I write this. LOL

I’m glad the video situation has been resolved; I’d say if you’re going to attempt forcing martial arts perhaps start with just a women’s self defense class so the idea doesn’t leave a sour taste in her mouth, due to reason. She may become interested in the more dedicated styles just by watching other girls (or guys https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif) close to her age in the dojo. Good luck! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

If there are cute boys there, she’s all in!
