Today you’ll begin training building block (fundamental) tricks to develop the necessary strength and skill for a safe Shoulder mount! Spinning pole students, remember you should feel secure in all of the tricks on static before switching to the spinning version of the program. I’ve included full tutorials for each trick you’ll use today, but if you don’t need a re-fresher feel free to skip to the REPS listed. Sometimes the same REPS are listed more than once, this is intentional.

Pro tip: Things have evolved on my website and I’m excited to say sets and reps are no longer listed in the descriptions. Instead they’re included as REPS videos that come after a tutorial where you learn all about each trick. Now all you have to do is follow along while the videos play through automatically. If you’re not able to complete the REPS included that’s ok! Simply use the “my notes” feature under the main video to track how many you managed. Notes are private and you can see all of your notes through your profile. You can also use a notebook and pen.

Use the toggle above the video player to switch from static to spinning versions of this program. You must be fully confident with the listed tricks on static pole before working on spinning pole.

When following a program allow the videos to play in order and follow along. Feel free to pause anytime you need to.

Below is a list of direct links to each related tutorial. Remember you only need to click on these if you’d like more help or information.

  1. Ok – here we be – lol. I actually did a couple of shoulder mounts before starting – but they were not solid like they used to be. Loved lesson one and revisiting (and correcting my old school spins!) 30 days is gonna take me 30 weeks – but will see how far I get before my mount is back solid ! Thank you for these at home lessons!
