Today is a rest day, but if you’re feeling motivated to work on something use the Flowmotion routine to gently stretch you’re hard working muscles.

Pro tip: I’d love to explain why I feel hula hooping is a complimentary apparatus to your pole. I personally love hula hooping as cross-training and warming up for pole and here’s why I enjoy my hoops so much:

  • They’re fun to take to festivals and events and easier to travel with than a pole
  • Hula hooping also allows for expression of music and whole body movement
  • When working with smaller hoops on your arms it strengthens the fingers, hands, wrist, and forearms, which also makes it a great choice for warm-ups too
  • You can hula hoop daily and a gentle, quick warm up will do, if it’s needed at all
  • Working with larger hula hoops improves spinal function, core strength and overall motor skills
  • It’s fairly inexpensive
