Hi there, I didn’t need any new top insert for my ball mount but I purchased mine several years ago so I’m guessing they may have changed. I wonder if the insert that comes with the poles now is too short?

I would email xpole and inquire what’s needed.

Maybe you can help me better understand. Are you saying you’re just working on random videos as a beginner? If so, I suggest following one of the programs because these will allow you to have rest days. They include strength and stretches that are needed as well. The pole strength routine is not a program. ????

If you think it’s from pole pushes, can you please share a video link of yourself doing these? I can let you know if you’re not positioning the arm correctly, placing the hand too high on the pole can cause too much strain at the elbow and shoulder.

Injuries are always a frustrating thing. I’m sorry that’s happening. Can you please explain what kind of injuries are suffering from this way I can better help you.

Things like soreness, tiredness or feeling, tender do not necessarily mean you have injured yourself and it’s common when starting pole.

Please let me know which program you have been using, the injuries that you suffered, what your doctor has said, and I’ll be happy to help you find a more suitable practice for your body.

Here’s a video on injury prevention that might be helpful to watch as well https://www.studioveena.com/tutorial/tips-for-injury-care-and-prevention-free-547/

Ok! I’ll post the videos in the order you should watch them in.

The first one covers how the bottom arm (pushing) should feel and be placed on the pole. https://www.studioveena.com/tutorial/forearm-push-grip-pull-grip-free-838/

Then, have a look at this video https://www.studioveena.com/tutorial/easy-up-split-grips-4-ways-869/ This grip not only required the correct positioning, it does take a lot of strength, so working on the related tutorials will be very helpful. I suggest doing the listed exercises 3 times a week.

Give these a try and feel free to film the attempts and I can then look at it and help you troubleshoot more if needed 🙂

I’m no longer offering certifications at this time. I will announce if I’m bringing it back. All photos and videos were not able to transfer which is why there’s nothing on your profile. I can email you the certificates of completion photos if you’d like.

I don’t know of any cheap POLE crash mats but you can use couch cushions for now! I also have similar mats to these gymnastic mats I bough off amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Gymnastics-Foldable-Tumbling-Carrying-Stretching/dp/B07GKSV91B/ref=sr_1_12_sspa?crid=NCYOWYH1LUT0&keywords=foldable%2Btumble%2Bmat&qid=1702228512&sprefix=foldable%2Btumble%2Caps%2C142&sr=8-12-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&th=1 I bought 2 so I can put them around the pole.

If you haven’t yet tried my Invert program https://www.studioveena.com/categories/nailed-it-pole-programs/ I highly suggest it as we start from the floor, build up strength and skills, then work on Inverts from standing. It’s still a good idea to have a soft place to land 🙂
