Today is an active rest day, but you’ll be doing a bit of conditioning for the scapula, hands, and wrists.

Pro tip: It’s important to know that training small muscle groups when you’re feeling physically cold isn’t a good idea. Doing so puts you at greater risk of muscle, tendon, and ligament strain or tear. The same goes for training for flexibility, but you’ll learn more about that later on!

Allow the videos to play in order and follow along. Feel free to pause anytime you need to.

Responses

  1. Done! I really love and appreciate these wrist strength and mobility drills because you know I get those sore wrists sometimes from violin! And even in general, I just feel like my left wrist in particular is so weak! I notice this when I do yoga, too…..How is guitar going by the way??! 😄

  2. I have wimpy wrists too, always have. Guitar is good! Can’t feel my left finger tips still, not sure that ever goes away, if not it’s worth it lol

  3. Haha! Maybe you’re developing the calluses that musicians get from pressing down in the strings! 👀 I’ll probably be in the same boat with my fingers 🤷🏽‍♀️
