Today I’ve included my walking meditation video and visualization video these are optional but worth a try even if you think this type of tool is woo woo.

Pro tip: Did you know if you take time to visualize and observe full-length pole performances and practices, you’ll learn faster than only doing choreography. Yup, it’s true!

Our brains are very powerful, and many athletes use visualization as part of their training toolkit. This article explains more and has some tips to get you started. In addition to visualization, there’s another wonderful way to learn without physically doing it: it’s the act of watching others. This is called Active Observation, and it’s how I learned to dance/move. Back in the day I watched tons of So You Think You can Dance and Dancing with the Stars! This article provides more insight, and even though the target audience is young people its a good read for all ages.
