I have a 30 day take off program that’s included in any lesson package purchase! It’s perfect for new dancers or Rhodes getting back into pole. You can check out the lessons for 3 days free if you use this code GET3FREE! It only works once tho and I suggest starting by watching each getting started lesson so you’ll have an understanding of how they work.💻📱

    Happy thanksgiving to you too🦃

Yay! I have the black PC xpole but I never got the extension for it when we moved so I haven’t used it much! I’m happy to hear they had them available, last I knew they were not in stock! 💜

I love pole for the workout and expression for sure!

Happy birthday! 🎂 If you know you’ll be moving again xpole might be your best option, then you can add extensions or remove them if needed. I love the powder coat option on the lil mynx and it’s also a nice pole. So I guess it would be a question of what’s more important, finish or “move-ability” 🏡🏠

Yes, you can use an xpole with popcorn ceilings, I have. A few pieces may fall off when you set up or take down but it was not noticeable. If the popcorn texture is very big and thick you may have issues with the dome staying in place. You could always get the permanent mount for the pole.

Second what everyone else said! Strengthening is a must!! 💪🏻 If you’d like some guidance check out the lessons here, there are some nice conditioning exercises that would help! https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view_category/conditioning-exercises

I have to be careful with my shoulders as well, they’re not crazy flexy but I’ve struggled with stabilization the exercises and being aware really helps!

Dragonfly, I welcome a helpful suggestion on pole wear, but it doesn’t really fit in this thread, so it comes across as spam! If you would like members to know about your product feel free to start a new thread sharing with us. Thank you 😊

Hi! Can I ask why it’s such and important move for you to achieve? This is an elite level move and with that being said, are you aware that not every move is appropriate for everyone? How is your back mobility at this point?

For some people it’s also the size of the legs that prevent crossing in pole sit. If you’re looking for alternative options for pole basics check out the lessons here! For example, in sit, cross at the ankles instead. I’ve taught men before and usually hair isn’t a big issue, unless they’re super hairy! Most men want to focus on strength based moves but don’t be afraid to have them try things that are more dancy!

I personally have not had the desire to learn silks, only hammock which has some similarities but different overall. I think silks might be better off learned in class. 🙂

Thank you Tropical, sounds like that would fit in nice with lines and flow, as it’s a bit related. I can build from those to a main topic of creating routines, and freestyle tips!

I’m glad you’re ok! Now I will scolled you a bit 🗣 with love of course 💜 As stated in the lessons always use a crash mat! Falls don’t have to be a part of learning pole. I mean it when I say in the lessons “when you feel secure” this doesn’t mean just go for it. Never move to the next step if you feel unsteady, sweaty or unsure.

If you haven’t seen it check out this broadcast on fears https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/5632ba12-6de8-430c-bc75-1e2eac11006c I talk about being
aware 😊 Awareness is key 🗝🔑

    Fun and exciting!

Lots and lots of combos from beginner on up in the lesson here so feel free to look through those. You could look through the routines as well. This video gives 5 steps and 5 tips for creating a routine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhW5OcZoMRM

    My tips would be:

Only put combos and move in that you are 100% comfortable with.

Don’t look down the whole time

    Smile and enjoy it

Don’t try to focus too much on doing things that you assume would be impressive. Well executed clean basics are more enjoyable to watch than a trick that is sloppy and unsteady.

Go with the music that fits you best.

November 14, 2015 at 6:19 pm in reply to: Is it ok for your partner/husband/boyfriend to still cherish other women?

Hi KNZS! I’m sorry to hear about this, it’s totally ok that you have come to this forum to ask for advice! xoxox

I will try to keep it short.

First, it’s NEVER ok to put yourself in a sexual situation that you know you’re not comfortable with for the sake of pleasing someone else….NEVER OK. Testing the waters to see how you feel about things is good, but it sounds like you’ve tried to be open about things and it doesn’t feel right for you and that’s OK! Telling you not to touch him in the strip club and actions of lying are not caring acts on his part.

Second, you need to talk with a professional. Not just to figure out what you need to do but to understand you’re good enough and worth respect! His actions are not a refection on your worth or beauty.

Third, Know that it’s normal for both men and women to enjoy watching porn, looking at others and even for some, being sexual, with more than one. THIS IS NOT RIGHT FOR EVERYONE, but it’s not dirty or bad IF all parties are consensual! It most certainly is a problem when someone in the relationship is HIDING, LYING or KNOWINGLY hurting you, that’s not ok! It’s also not good if you’re doing sexual things you’re not ok with, for him, in hopes that this will earn his love or respect.

Last, one of the MOST important things in any relationship is to COMMUNICATE! You both have to be willing to open up and be honest about desires, interests and feeling. Assuming or trying to please someone to earn love or respect will be detrimental to the relationship and to your mind and soul 🙁

    ((HUGS)) to you.
