I have one more treatment……Garlic!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gifWhile pregnant I had issues, I didn't want to use OTC meds. My midwife suggested garlic and it worked soooo well. I had problems with yeast for a long time, until I used that method. I did a cider vinegar bath for external relief.
Take a fresh garlic clove, (use a big one) hehe, peel it, with a needle run a thread through, garlic the long way, tie a knot, leaving a long enough tail so you can pull the garlic out. Put it in at night before bed, take it out in the morning. Do this for 3-5 days. Warring, the smell of garlic will be stuck in your nose when you wake up! lol

yep, I always play it safe and go for ONE butt cheek.

I would go to the doctor and have it looked at. Are you new to pole dance? Have you been working on spins or split grips? These can make your hands sore.

I realized I have this move at the end of the Booty challenge you'll get a good look at it….I decided to throw it in last minute so its not pretty but you'll be able to see where I put the pole.

I would guess that she's placing the pole farther out, closer to the thigh….this is how I also do it. Closer to the thigh is safer if you slip!! eek https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif

My ceiling right now is 9ft and I used a extension like Saphyre. This makes the pole very stable. I have used it at 9ft with out an extension with no troubles, but I really like it with an extension.

Doing moves without skin contact is always harder Sarah!! I always go for skin contact whenever learn something new. 🙂

I agree we have so many beautiful dancers!
Practice, practice!!! I work on Flow and dance more than tricks, it really takes a lot of practice and time.
Here are a few suggestions:
Don't be afraid to look silly or make mistakes.
Record yourself, you don't have to ever show it to anyone if you don't want to.
Move slowly, focusing on controlling every part of your body, even the hands and fingers and toes! If thinking about every body part at once is overwhelming, break it up into days. So one day focus on pretty feet all practice, then next practice the hands, ect.
If you are uncomfortable with freestyle, write down 2 spin, 2 tricks and 2 transitions. work on moving through all six.
BREATH, we tend to rush or look stiff if we hold our breath. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I suggest new polers go with the Chrome or titanium 45mm X pole. There are many threads on here about pole finishes and sizes, if you'd like to look through those. Just do a search on the site here. X pole is the brand I trust and I have many of them. You can put it on carpet too. You could look into Pole Danzer poles as well, I hear good things about them.
When you sign up for the lessons the "getting started" videos at the beginning of each section will explain how often you should pole or do strength work ect. This will help you plan your workouts.
Adding yoga and Pilates is great for pole conditioning! Swimming, walking or hooping is good for cardiovascular stamina.

Goodness, give yourself time! It's very common to see gains right away and then start to level off. When this does happen, try changing the order of the stretches or try holding stretches longer, or shorter (doing more reps), basically change it up. If your using the routines here try adding some of the other stretches either in place of, or in addition to what's in the routine. Not all the stretches listed in the individual lessons are in the routines. You can do it!https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
