I got mine from here and it came within a week and I live all the way across the country (Maryland). Did you get an email with your tracking info? If not send Veena or Webmaster a message and they can get it to you. That way you can stalk it….minute by minute….like I did https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif .

Grr! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif He probably played that clip because he hasn’t had a girlfriend in ages and when/if he gets one, she will definitely not be a sexy pole dancer like any of us awesome ladies!

    Right on! *high five*

Musical poles and Money Scatter- We do these both at my studio back to back and it ends with prize.
Musical Poles – Break the ladies up into even groups usually groups of two or three work best. (if you have several poles and a lot of girls sometimes it is easier to do two groups at a time) We will say 9 Ladies 3 groups of three.

Each group has to dance around the pole but not touch it while the music is playing (touching is disqualification) When the music stop first girl to grab the pole with two hands on the pole wins. Same thing for the other groups.
At the end you would have three winners. Whoever wins has a spot in in Money Scatter. Then the two girls who lost that round go again to see who the other person in the 2nd game will be. Now onto Money Scatter

Money Scatter- You will need two (to three blind folds) and lots of fake money. Blind fold the two girls and make them hold onto the pole. Scatter the fake money around them . When the music starts they get down on the floor. crawl around, and try to scoop as much money in their shirts as possible. When the music stops i make them drop any money in their hands. after wards they count out the bills and whoever has the most wins a prize.

it isnt a sexy game but it is fun and always gets everyone laughing and excited

That money scatter game sounds fun, LOL. Especially if they get to pocket the cash.

    I don’t think it’s 3500 calories a pound. More like 1500-ish but I’d have to look it up… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

Yes it is. Trust me, I know what I’m talking about. My mom is a dietition, I’ve heard about this sort of thing my entire life. I’ve also read a plethora of books on the subject. It is 3500, I’d bet my life on it. Google if you don’t believe me.

Ok,ok my bad. Like I said I didn’t look it up, so I wasn’t sure.

I’ll be sure to never doubt your wisdom again in the future https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif .

Small changes can make us feel more empowered, like we’re doing something positive no matter how small it may be. I work on the third floor and try to take the stairs to and from my job. It isn’t much but it gets my heart pumping a bit and might be helping me shed 6 calories or so. Every bit helps right? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

i have been poling for almost a month now & last night was the first time i was strong enough to actually climb up the pole! is that normal? or am i just really weak? i felt like that was pretty good https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif lol! now for the silly question… what do you do when you can climb the pole but can NOT do inverts? i don’t want to try inverts anytime soon, my core is far too weak for that, i would sink like a stone & bust my ass for sure! lol! i can sit on the pole & thats cool up "high" but thats about the only think i can think to do after i have climbed up there. any suggestions?

I think that’s pretty good! Congrats on the climb!

Nah, we don’t share poles at the studio I go to and the Instructors never touch us. Sometimes I wish they would, LOL.

I hope your back feels better soon. You’re gonna take it easy right?

I have carpet and I dance in heels all the time. Maybe the more you do it the more you’ll get used to it and it’ll be easier. When I’m not wearing heels I go barefoot because when I spin or twirl in socks they get all twisted on my footsie https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

    Hey Girlie,
I can’t get on the vertical dance website from work to see which moves you’re referring to but if my memory serves me correctly (which it often doesn’t) that sight just shows pictures right? I’m sure it’s hard to get a full understanding from moves and spins from a still shot.

Did you try youtubing the moves you’re wondering about? I’m almost positive you can find videos of them or something close to them.

I heard great things about Pleaser too. I don’t personally own any (but I am in the market for some) but the shoes I dance in are a lot like them from what I can tell and I love em!

I think anything that you feel good in and that is comfy enough for you to walk in will work https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
