Begin this day with some Hip circles as a warm up. Try doing these for a whole song changing directions now and then.

Work on the Under turns and Across turns at least 6 times (3 each direction) try all the variations.

Do the Side to side about 4 times but not so many that you get dizzy! Give yourself at least a minute between each lessons so you don’t become too dizzy. While you wait work on doing super slow hip circles while standing in place.

Finish with the pole massage if you like.

  1. Wow! I did it! Week 1 down. Yay! That massage was great. Now I can cancel my membership at Massage Envy. J/k (I don’t have one but I’m sure if I did they would appreciate that I made their job easier). I can’t believe the my calves were so tight on the right side compared to the left side. All my injuries are on the left. Thank you so much, Veena! My confidence is better than when I started.

  2. day 7 complete! thank god it was an active rest day lol. my job has been giving me migraines for the past week. So while I haven’t been doing a “lesson lesson” I have been practicing at least a couple pole sits/holds on each side on my lunch break or after work then going to bed LOL. something is better than nothing and I can tell I am improving a little in strength. so I can’t spin with my whole body straight and my arms bent yet. It is still the unsexy half spin/jump thingy around half my pole stage. I CAN do an unsexy full spin if I hang down and kinda turn my body into a cannonball like I am jumping into the pool, and both arms are basically fully extended and I am gripping on. LOL better than what I could do before which was nothing. I can also hold my pole sits and pole hold like twice as long now. I try to hold my pose as long as I can then a couple seconds more each time to build more core strength too. I like to do the lessons right after the gym so I am all warmed up.

    1. Doing your pole training after a workout is a good plan! Sexy is in the eye of the beholder. 🤗 So as long as you’re having fun and working towards improving technique, that’s all that matters 💜 I hope the migraines stop soon!
