Dancing In Heels: Day 15
Duration: 00:21:19
This week you’ll begin working on my beginner level 3 choreography, which also means it’s time to learn about heel tracing and edge work! Don’t do this routine today though—I’ve added the link below if you’d like to watch it before you start working on it.
For this lesson today, you’ll work on different grips to help you transition from pole to floor and floor to pole in heels, and you’ll learn about the toe box!
Allow the videos to play in order and follow along. Feel free to pause anytime you need to.
Below is a list of direct links to each full length tutorial you worked on in today’s session. Remember you only need to click on these if you’d like more help or information.
oh boy my legs are like jello after doing the tick tock leg routine….i could barely keep up with you LOL.
I absolutely love this heel program. Great lesson on how to use the toe box for getting down and up. I hope we revisit this lesson.
That routine is a good one! I’m glad you enjoyed the lesson xoxox
WUFF. That tick tock routine makes my lower back hurt no matter how hard I focus on abs in/neutral pelvis! Been a while since I’ve done a real ab workout. . .
The toe box thing is a game changer.
For the tick tock routine. As long as the lower back is just achy, sore, fatigued, feeling it’s ok. If they is sharp stabbing sudden pain let me know and I will have you do a different routine. Yay for toe boxes.
Oh no it’s not that sort of pain! Just achey, and fatigues quickly. Thank you for bringing that up though.
Good! If you have time, a member asked a question about heels. It’s in the discussions here. https://www.studioveena.com/discuss/discussion/heels/ of course I’ll answer her, but it might be nice to have a fellow student reply!
Aww, thanks for asking me. I’ll go take a look!
