It is absolutely normal to struggle like that at first. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif I like to recommended strength training to new polers who don’t have a really athletic background. A good place to start training??? Right here! There are strength training lessons that will strengthen all the major muscle groups and no special equipment required just you and your friend the pole. Just be sure to take it slow at first, your abs, inner thighs and pelvic floor, will be weak and my understanding is you are kinda new to this form of exercise? So be sure to listen to your body. Can’t wait to see vids…I’ve been off my pole for almost two weeks, my back’s still giving me problems from falling off my pole awhile ago. Hopefully I’ll be all fixed soon and I’ll do a video! Anywho, know what I’d LOVE? If every one posted a link to their challenge in the forum! It’d make it so much easier than searching for it! (Plus I’m search-challenged, I never can seem to find what I’m looking for, lol). Anywho, just a thought!

I did my challenge on Monday… but the song I picked was Kiss by Prince and Youtube wont allow it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif So I’ll have to find a different song…I even did 5 takes because I wanted to dance straight though but my kids kept intrupting…I would be almost done and a child would wander past the video cam. LOL but then Monday night I had the stomach flu https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_r.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_l.gif so it will be a few days before I jump back on the pole. Everyone one of my kids had this awful flu I thought for sure I wouldn’t get it…This whole month of February has been full of fevers and https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_r.gif . https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_pale.gif The challenge for me isn’t the 80s music its actually DOING a video LOL. Hmmm I’m not familiar with the lil mynx pole its self but… don’t use a toggle its not safe. S There is usually 2 types of metal used in that type of beam. Once is cast iron the other is just a folded piece of metal and wouldn’t be sturdy enough to hold your pole. I hope you get it work out. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

So from now on you look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself out loud that your sexy! and in control…when you do any kind of exotic day remember YOU are really the one in control. You have all the power…you can choose to show or do as little or as much as you want. He’s just lucky he gets to be part of it!! I can tell from your vid that this seems to be something that you really enjoy, a different side of you. So embrace your inner naughty there’s nothing wrong with that. Ok i received my pole yesterday… so excited to finally have it right. well i get the whole thing up and the cap that covers the screw in part wont go over the little notches at the very top. one side gives and goes in but the other side won’t. do i really need this cap cover. do i need to call x pole manufacturer. can someone help me please. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif
You don’t need the cover on, most of us don’t bother. You can call them if you want and they’ll take care of it for you…my 45 x has the same problem but it doesn’t bother me. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif -

I’ve been unable to pole like I had wanted. I managed one week of poling 4 times….but then the kids were https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_r.gif sick https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_l.gif then I was sick breast feeding issues not vomit LOL thank god. One thing after another. I haven’t been keeping up with my stretching either and I can tell. So now that we’re on the mend I hope to kick my butt back in gear. I plan on doing some weight training so we’ll see…….
