Hug a pole today! I’ve seen a lot of dancers refer to this move as beginner. However, this style of elbow grip is painful and not a easy as it looks to hold the body up. The smaller the diameter of the pole the more painful and difficult this pose is. Climb and Hug 🤗 This is the perfect move to represent Pole hugs and Pole kisses! To avoid really bad pole kisses on the shin make sure the knees are up higher than the hips. Day 1 The Cupid! 💘💘💘 Also known as Advanced Star.
Tips: (Hug) the pole with the knee pit! Keep your hip and knee in line with each other or close to it. Make sure you haver really good grip with the knee pit and foot. For real….don’t even bother trying if you don’t have a nice tackiness to stick. Work on the Leg Hook Side Crunch before learning this pose.
