If a pole is very sticky it will be super important to be “on” with your placement. If you’ve been sliding into position or shifting around that can cause more pain. This is why I don’t suggest a pole wrap, brass and some powder coating to beginner dancers. Not saying you’re a beginner, I don’t know your skill level. But making sure you’re really sure of your points of contact is helpful. These is no perfect pole finish imo.

Yep, Caterpillar is a must know 💜

A lot of people have done both of those together. The most important thing is to keep the rest days so you recover. Rest is just as important at training to see results ðŸ˜

I do miss my SV Little Mynx!!!!!

Hug a pole today! I’ve seen a lot of dancers refer to this move as beginner. However, this style of elbow grip is painful and not a easy as it looks to hold the body up. The smaller the diameter of the pole the more painful and difficult this pose is. Here’s a lesson to give you some tips for elbow hangs. https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/5eb04404-29c0-429d-919b-2ed8ac110005

Mine were made by a friend so I’m not familiar with how the Pleasers work. Did you try contacting Pleaser?

Leg hug 🤗💜 No idea what the name of this trick is but it’s a neat pose and a great way to transition into a split. This is a variation shown in the photo. If you’re curious about the ins and out of this trick, check out my attempts to learn this! https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/5fe0fb31-5510-4512-9be8-7c10ac110005
Here’s Monica kay’s video who inspired me to try, as I’d never seen it before. https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/5fbf2e82-eb08-43a0-ab87-299cac110005

Climb and Hug 🤗 This is the perfect move to represent Pole hugs and Pole kisses! To avoid really bad pole kisses on the shin make sure the knees are up higher than the hips. Hug the pole with both elbow pits when first learning. There’s a lesson for this if you’d like to learn more! https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/5e7bd457-c30c-408e-99d3-2f8eac110005

It’s just a jump while holding the pole 🥰

Day 1 The Cupid! 💘💘💘 Also known as Advanced Star.
Tips: (Hug) the pole with the knee pit! Keep your hip and knee in line with each other or close to it. Make sure you haver really good grip with the knee pit and foot. For real….don’t even bother trying if you don’t have a nice tackiness to stick. Work on the Leg Hook Side Crunch before learning this pose.

Yes, they are safe. Just like any other pole making sure it’s installed correctly is key. We use to sell a Lil mynx pole as a branded Studioveena pole.
We stopped selling them when Lil Mynx no longer wanted to do the special Powder coat finish. I miss my Lil Mynx, it fell off the back of an open trailer when we moved and broke. https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/536e3839-f34c-48c6-9a55-78790a9aa0eb

This seems to the case from what I hear. We stopped selling their poles a few years back when the customer service started to go downhill. 😠I don’t know about the other companies either. I think pick your pole and home you don’t need their help.

Juicy, I have the smallest size and they’re tight but still because of their grippy nature they stay on the pole but my body keeps moving. It’s areas like knee pits and the fold of the hips. I had burns so bad I contacted the company to let them know. They told me I need to wash them before using. I have, of course washed them many times and still have problems.
Yesterday I was contacted by someone on IG who has scaring from wearing her skicky leggings! I thought I was unique in that issue but….
I think for moves like climbs and sits it’s not so bad, but as a very flexible mover they don’t work for me.
The best pair of sticky leggings I have were under 25 dollars! However, they smell bad when you first get them and you sweat like CRAZY!! I don’t get pole burn on my knee pits but still have to watch out for the hip area.

I’m hoping to have it ready by end of Feb. I got a bit side tracked doing the VIP plan videos 🙂
