Someone should make cellulite "fashinable" so most of women would be happy and to bad for the 10% left https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
I got some too even when i was really skinny but that’s a fact that man barely notice it even when you show them. So we all should learn to be happy with our body. And then learn how to use photoshop for our picture on the beach https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif -

But he was happy with the result https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif . But on the other hand, he’s a little bit like your Mommybear, I can’t stand him while i pratice, he just can’t keep his hands for himself. Losing a baby is very hard so take your time, it’s ok to be sad and it’s part of your life don’t put that sadness away. But on the other side dancing it might be a way to heal.

That’s exactly why I didn’t make the challenge …yet https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif Seem all i can do is walking ang spining. I know the girls won’t judge us for having trouble making a routine, we’re not the first to have this problem. I think I will try the few tips girls gave you and give it a try.
Veena have a bunch of transition move in the lessons part and i also find fun stuff here: http://www.youtube.com/user/RochesterPoleDance#p/u/2/UtMimMBVFg0
Good luck and i hope to see your video soon

Your question is not so mudy https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
I just start Veena lesson 2 weeks ago and I don’t think they’re really in some order but watch all of them once for beginning. Most of the time if it’s a move you should be a little more advance (even in beginner) she will tell it. Or sometime she say it a good move to learn before that other move.Anyway from one person to another it don’t always go in the same order so don’t worry if you have hard time with one that other think it’s easy, we’re all different and we learn a different way. Good luck https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Congratulation on your first fireman!!! You sure got an addiction with pole, once you get that feeling you’ll want it over and over again https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
When I began, I was training every day sometime 2 time a day it’s easy to get caugh and forget to let your body get some rest, but it’s worth it. Now I train every 2 day and if I really need to do something I’ll work on my flexibilty. Wish you a lot of "I got it " feeling in the next week/month https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif

With alcool I end with even more sweaty hand before long but maybe it’s just me. And i heard about using the stuff for cleaning hands without water work well and it’s a fact that I’m left with a little sticky hands after using it. I should give it a try a come back to tell you.

Beginner here too https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I sure you will enjoy yourself with us. Poling is the funniest thing I have done in my life!!!

CKR- cross knee release
It’s when you sit on the pole then cross when one leg on the other and then…yes you let yourself go back, you can use your hands to help you. It’s kind of hard at first because it’s really hurt your thigh ouch but when you can do that and then go up again (like sit-up) it give you an idea that you’re on your way https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif
tiffthebest i’m a beginner too and propably do it without knowing because I begin with youtube. Don’t worry about it and work more on your abs it should help. We should always think of doing moves the good way and the safe way rather then learning very fast. I’m pretty sure you’ll get it soon.

Je vais continué en anglais pour que les autrse puisse participé mais si tu as besoin de précisions je te répondrai en français.
I heard some girls use nails remover to clean it the first time. I didn’t do it, I use 70% alcool to clean it when it need to. But the weather have a lot to do with it it’s sure. And I also notice that I have to start with easy move and spin so me and my pole can warm up, because it’s really hard to do any trick before 10 minutes at least. And after 2 months it’s better so I guess it really break in (use et s’améliore https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif )
Oh and be careful not to put alcool on your hands because if it dry at first it then become very sweaty, had this little problem this week https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif
Bonne chance

don’t forget to replace the holes in front with the X when you want to lock it in place or it won’t stay lock. Have fun spinnning https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

That’s a good start and before you notice it will ”almost” never hurt that bad. But as Chemgoddess said don’t go to fast because the move you’re trying isn’t easy and yes it hurt a lot. Don’t forget to put something on the floor when you’re working in invert.

Bonjour Audrey
Bonne chance https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif

My oldest boy is 5 and go to school so I had to have "the talk" because he was so happy about the pole.
After 2 day of him talking all the time about it… I finally just told him that I use my pole for exercises but some girls use it for a very different job that not include a lot a clothes https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif (he didn’t ask for detail) Some people think it’s wrong (no it’s not) but I don’t want people say bad things around and hurt your feeling because they don’t understand. And he got it, he know with who he can talk about de pole. For my family and friend they know, and when you get into my house it’s one of the first thing you see, I don’t hide it. Can’t wait for having someone who want to sell me insurance https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif But I’m not ready yet for the bumper sticker maybe later, because the more we’ll talk about it more people will see it as a sport and not just a club thing.

Hi Amanda, welcome!
I just went to a studio (2h from home https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif ) try a lesson…fell madly in love and take a pole home the same day https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif My boyfriend had to work a lot more harder to get his stuff ion my place https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
If you can take class I think it’s a good start + a good pole is kind of expensive if your not sure you gonna really love it that would be better. And if you learn at home, I didn’t get the chance "yet" to try Veena lesson but heard the’re really well done. And you can go check the New 2 Pole section on the forum it may help you in your "journey" to become a pole dancer https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif
