I also teach, so I don’t have a choice for taking time off when it is that time of the month!

Typically I will bruise like crazy the week leading up to my period. So it is a very good period tracker for me! I never have sensitivity to my body being on poles or aerials, but the first day or 2 it always feels like my uterus is just going to fall right out of my body.

I wish it would come back in the capacity of when I first found this website in late 2010. There were always so many people! You could pop in at any time during the day/evening to find up to 15 polers always here. I really miss the old day :o(

Unfortunately it seems to happen every year – Which is such a bummer! It is so hard to wait for good quality full video performances to be uploaded to youtube!

I have had good luck with Tend Skin, but no experience with surgery. I got samples of the Tend skin and liked it so much I bought it. Sorry you are going through this, ingrown hairs are a pain in the ass :o( http://www.tendskin.com/

I have a no under garment policy, but aside from that am open to those wearing what they are comfortable in. I had instructed at a studio a few years ago that allowed underwire bras and panties and I felt that it was not the environment I wanted for myself. And when I say panties, I mean single layer.

I always loved the 12 days video you did! I am definitely going to give it a try, or collapse in the process ;o) xoxo

I have the mipole light and they are ok. The batteries don’t last very long in the ones I have. I will say – This bulb is awesome, if you have a lamp nearby it is pretty cool! And as long as you don’t mind waiting a few weeks, the $5 is a great price! http://www.ebay.com/itm/E27-3W-RGB-LED-Crystal-Stage-Rotating-Color-Light-Bulb-Lamp-For-Party-Disco-Bar-/350916666895?pt=US_String_Lights_Fairy_Lights&hash=item51b443660f

MemberOctober 14, 2013 at 12:08 pm in reply to: Does your father come to your pole performances?Neither of my parents have come to any of my performances, but they are 100% supportive. They haven't come because neither live close enough to attend. They have watched me in my home and I taught my mom a few spins when she visited last. I would absolutely want my parents to see me someday.
When I first started reading this thread I couldn't help but think of not only Veena and her loss, but also of Cleo from the Blood, Sweat, and Sequins documentary.
I am a huge baby and I cry (very easily) at the idea of never getting to share something so important to me with the ones I love. I would say invite him! You should be proud of yourself!
p.s – Here is the link for the trailer to the doc listed above. xoxo

Love it! Here is my "Bringing Sexy Back" from this year, nothing but heels, leg warmers, and booty! xoxo Layla!

Good for her! As it is her 3rd pregnancy (not that all pregnancies are the same) I'm sure she has a pretty good feel as to what her body does during those 9 months, and what it i capable of. She was doing this stuff 2 1/2 years prior to becoming pregnant, so it isn't like she is starting something new that her body is not acustomed to. I would say it is just like pole dancing. You wouldn't start pole from the beginning as an expectant mother, but continuing to do something that gives you exercise and makes you feel good/part of your daily routine – well, then good for you!

Lowest height that was recommended when I took my teacher training was 8 feet.

Have you tried using e-6000? It is a super strong epoxy found at craft stores. Might be worth a shot! xoxo

You may also want to look into your nutrition/eating habits. I have let mine slip and I can definitely see a change in strength and mental attitude. I hope you come out of your slump soon :o) xoxo
