    I am certainly in and I guess since we have our new thread, we should explain the rules of engagement and since I’m new to this…I have no clue. 🙂

    oh good idea!! so basically the challenge is to do the splits by christmas…and then post a photo of you doing your splits in front of the christmas tree! 

    of course if you don't have a christmas tree you can still take part! maybe we could be creative…splits with a santa hat / outfit on in front of the pole??

     

    and we can come onto this thread to discuss our progress and get feedback and advice 🙂

    I'm in! I already pretty much have both front/side splits so I will join for middles by xmas…Here's hoping!

    Count me in! I had my left leg front split last year. Maybe I'll get the right side!

    awesome platinumani  ! i'm so jealous!! i can't even go down far enough that i can support my weight / balance with my hands 🙁 

    sooo i'm thinking of buying some yoga blocks to help me balance. i honestly don't stay in my "splits" for very long when stretching bc it's so damn awkward trying to balance

    You guys have a great resource for splits training right here. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif There are about 35 individual stretching lessons and 3, twenty minute routines. 2 of those are for splits.     And they really work! The combination of my Alethea dvds and Veena’s lessons made the biggest improvements ever.

    Ive had your lessons before veena andthey are fab! Didnt get a chance to use your stretching lessons much but ill hopefully be able to sign up again soon 🙂 dustbunny have you any pics of your progress?thanks

    I am doing this for sure. I only got open front splits on one side last year. My GOAL is to get my hips squared on that side, open fronts on the other side, and straddle splits! I'm ambitious! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
