Hi Raven,
I understand fear and insecurity so well especially as I'm pursuing grad school and trying to complete all the daunting tasks it requires. I think fear happens in periods of inaction when we let our minds get the best of us. I think as soon as you start taking action like volunteering or shadowing someone in a field you're interested in, that fear sort of melts away.

I was referring to the actual forum where you can ask for girls opinions and experiences on different clubs, and a newbie section where girls like the OP start threads similar to this one. (I'm a poster there)

that's an interesting conclusion to come to when there's so many variables involved (location, contact/no contact, if your look is in demand at that particular club, travel dancing, stage dancing/VIP). great point shona, I think the advantage that the dancers here have is that they don't have to place all their happiness on another person which in my experience is unsustainable anyway.
