I've gotten this question a lot lately so here's a video to help you sort it out! 💜 Always install your pole according to the instructions it came with. Check all screws and any pieces that are not permanent each time before you pole dance. If something doesn't feel right, get off the pole and check it. I suggest trying a static spin like the fireman before any inverted tricks. Even permanent poles should be checked regularly! Check your pole EVERYTIME before you dance! PS if wearing socks on a slick floor always do the push, pull test with grippy shoes so you have lots of force against the pole.

The rotator cuff stuff is exactly what my chiro told me to do: he is going to be so happy I'm looking after my shoulders and building strength safely on both sides :)
