The doctor see's no reason to replace it I wish he would! This happen about 2 years ago. I have 270cc gel silicone above the muscle. Thank you for starting this topic 🙂 The most important thing in plastic surgery is that the patient be happy with the results. If you're not happy with the results, you should have the issue corrected so you are. If the Dr. doesn't understand that, IMO you need to get a second opinion. It's too big of an issue, it's too huge of an area for a woman's self confidence, and you spent too much money to not be 100% satisfied. A second opinion never hurts and you might discover a way to balance the girls out that doesn't involve replacing it altogether. Just my $.02.
Thank You. Maybe I will do that. 🙂
Dangermouse, your boobs and mine could be sisters! I had my done on March 1st, 2010. Since we are going through the same healing process at about the same rate it would be great to talk to some one who knows what I'm going through and also wants to return to pole dancing. My e-mail address is mailto:[email protected] - hope to hear from you!

I can SOOOOO help on this one, i want to share my story but dont be scared, everyone is different. I've had mine before I started pole, 3 years ago. You will probaly be off the pole for more than a month. I had mine done after my daughter was born and i lost all the weight but i went from a natural size C to a DD nursing and then i lost a LOT of weight and muscle mass and had nothing in my breasts, they were even damaged muscles from nursing. so I had a D size implant to fill up the space so i didnt have to get a lift or pay for one (they are expensive) my husband was just in the military and my daughter was still little. So...story two, i started dancing, depending at what level you are at and how much you dance you should be really careful. if you notice there are not many competitive polers with breast implants. I am left handed, and after so much pole in 3 years the pocket ripped all the way up to my sholder almost and the implant would slide out to the side when i was sleeping AND it was uneven and ugly lol. So a year ago (when i was taking a break from pole) i got it fixed and now its back to normal, the doctor suggested i dont pole as much, but i would fix it again just to pole and hopefully get to uspdf at the end of the year 😀 I would say though, that since i have been lifting weights it has helped my breasts alot, there is stronger muscles and they look alot more...eh...durable..? 😂 just becareful what you do after, if you have any questions feel free to ask me, i've always felt alone on the fake boobs pole dancer department. 😂 😂 did you get yours over or under the muscle? how many CCs? whats your band measurement? how did you get it put in? do you have any scars?
I've been really really really worried about this as well, as I got my boobies a year ago and just started pole dancing this year. I noticed that women who did have implants and poled their boobies looked hard and restricted from the tightened muscles in the chest. I paid too much money for these puppies, so I definately don't want that! Sometimes I think about keeping my poling to a minimum, so that I can try and avoid a similar outcome to my beautiful boobies. But I really want to get into more of the advanced moves eventually, so I have been trying to find out if there is anything a girl can do to keep her muscles in line, so the boobies stay looking good and stay soft. Any tips?
Mine don't bother me at all. I got them 5 years ago (saline under the muscle) and have been poling, working out in the gym, and doing yoga and gymnastics for the last 3 years. I did experience a LOT of pain after the surgery and couldn't exercise comfortably for a full 3 months. It's true that with under the muscle, your breast deforms slightly when you lift using your chest muscles, but I have never noticed it while on the pole. They still look extremely natural and soft despite my best attempts in the gym -- more so every year, actually. 🙂 Good luck with yours!!
Anyone able to update how implants affect poling? I'm ten days post-op and all I can do is walk around the pole in my new pleaser platforms. But in my mind I'm doing insane routines, lol.
My ps told me I could get back on the pole about 2-3 months after. But it took about 4-5 months for me to actually get back into it. Be patient, don't rush yourself and risk injury.
Thanks for the update! How did you start up again? How long and often did you pole for and which moves did you do at first?
I just had mine redone yesterday -- gummy bear over the muscle. They were supposed to do it last week to remove scar tissue but when they got in there, they found a mass they hadn't expected. Everything is ok and they went ahead with putting new ones in yesterday. I feel pretty good but I'm going to take it slow. My doctor thought I'd only need a couple weeks off of the pole and he's seen some pics so he knows what level of tricks i'm doing. I've been poling for a little over a year and I'm missing it already. I'm really worried I'll lose too much upper body strength. At least I'll be walking tomorrow and hopefully spinning by Sunday.
big strong girl! That's impressive, spinning by Sunday! It must have been scary to wake up from surgery and finding out they didn't go ahead with the implants and instead you had a potential complication. I'm glad it all turned out well! I was so hoping to be back at six weeks. I don't really even know how to start up again since everything relies on upper body, even getting on the pole to do a sit requires upper body.
Spinnygirl, when I was released for exercise, I started off with Tae Bo. Something to get my arms moving, but nothing too strenuous so I could see how that felt. I had to do that for a couple of months. When I stopped poling for my ba, I was at an intermediate level. When I started back, I started back at the beginning and progressed as I felt was in my ability. Luckily, muscle memory is prett good, so it won't take you nearly as long to get back to where you left off. It's not like learning it all again. But please, take it easy and listen to your body. You want to make sure you don't injure yourself or strain your pecs and risk doing damage to your incision site. What placement are your implants?
I'm silicone, full unders, crease incision, 375cc modplus. I was cleared for lower body workout as I am fully dropped but I'm only doing BBL and abripper from P90X. I've got good mobility in my arms but I'm not lifting anything at all. I'm just scared of ruining my pockets and don't know what kind of progression for upperbody is healthy without being too slow. Thanks for reminding me to take it slow, its just so hard to feel normal again and not be able to resume full physical activity. I miss poling so bad.
I have complete unders too. Keep in mind they need to drop and fluff. Another good reason to not do anything crazy involving your pecs for a little while. The muscles need to stretch out and relax a bit so your implants can settle into place.
Is that justbreastimplants.com lingo? D&F? Do you mind if I ask how much you went with? And your profile?
HELP on SYMMASTIA. I have 300cc, silicone unders for 1.5 years now and I've been poling and doing tons of pull ups recently and noticed last week that I now have slight symmastia (where the skin at your cleavage comes off the breast bone and in severe cases looks like a uniboob). Its only a little but I'm scared it might be getting worse with pole and pull ups, going to make a Dr. appt this week but wanted to see if anyone has has it or know of any polers with it. I also have pectus excavatum, where my chest bone concaves so I think the implants are slowly starting to move fwd. Anyone have any words on the subjectt? THANKS
i will b getting a breast lift, i am happy with my As believe it or not lol but breastfeeding has left them a little droopy :/ i like perky little things haha i wonder how that recovery will b for poling, idk if there r more incisions etc. anyone polers out there who hav had just a lift???
any polers***

Oh gosh this sounds scary. I think I will stick with my slowly sinking (lol) naturals if I can bear it.
I had implant plus a lift. In order to look like they lift the breast, they basically cut a circle around your areola and nipple (the colored part on your boob) and move it up higher on the breast. Mine looks terrible, I have a scar around each areola. I would NEVER do anything to my natural breast again. Even if they were small and somewhat saggy! Would love to have mine removed, but it cost too much $$$$.
I went from A-C and I love them but if it came down to reconstructive surgery or taking them out I'd probably just remove them, poling makes me feel sexier than filling out a bikini, (although thats nice too) My scar is in the arm pit and you can't see it, I am SO GLAD I didn't cut my breast or nipple.
@LL hunny u still look great!!

i had implants (saline 225cc under muscle) for 6 years. loved them the first few years, but then got tired of the maintenance. what the docs don't tell you is that your boobs will have to be massaged and squeezed just about every day, or else the capsule (scar tissue) around the implant will harden (contracture). i got tired of it. and i am so happy that i had them removed this past december!!!! i wish everyone good luck with theirs, though...

ok- i read this blog and was thinking... what about just a breast lift! and then I seen Rixi's comment. Has anyone had just a breast lift and poled after? any info =)
With only a breast lift you will have more scaring then just an augment. They have to go under the breast and make a keyhole shaped incinsion...the aeroles are the circle or top of the keyhole and they pull the breast tissue together. so scar under, then a scar line vertical to a scar around the aerioles. I had a modified lift with implants over the muscle 15 years ago. I've never had a problem with mine. I have a lot of breast tissue to begin with so I opted for a modified reduction with an implant. I still ended up a little bigger. Went from a 32DD to a 32DDD. I would love to be just a D. Boobs are awkward, but I didnt want the "scars" at the time. If I could do it over agian I would have just done the reduction/lift. Some people encapsulate some dont. Remember...if you get implants you WILL have to get them replaced/removed at some point.. they wear out eventually. Dont get an implant larger then you should...you could have the skin start to pull away from the sternum wall. If you dont have very much breast tissue on your own..going under the muscle will help hide the implant sack...but you will have the muscle contract on it and it will change the shape of the implant during the contraction. If you go over the muscle and you do not have very much breast tissue to start with you will see the ripples of the implant. It will be more noticable when you bend over. Silicone feel more real, but saline you will know right away if the implant has ruptured.
