Contracted Lyme Disease five years ago. Went from going on 100 mile a day bike rides to bed ridden for 4 months! Finally found a doctor who would treat me and I am feeling stronger every day. Poling is a great work out for me and something I can do at my pace while getting myself back in shape. I am a Registered Nurse and teach health/nursing classes at a local college. I also supervisor Certified Nurse Testing sites for the state of Michigan. Spend a lot of time traveling and visiting the sites. I have a wonderful husband and two sons 24 and 14.
