Today enjoy a full day of rest. As we become closer to the end of this program you might be thinking about working on more combos, like we did in the beginner level 3 program. I’d like to provide some tips for practicing combos.

Pro tip: Remember when working on combos they’re mostly suggestions. It’s okay if you end up doing things a little differently than I didβ€”that’s part of the fun of pole dance, finding what works for your body and making movement your own. Don’t stress if your body wants to do a fireman into back hook instead of fireman into back attitude.

Here are a few things you can do to make combos your own:

  • Change the grip
  • Switch up the arms
  • Try doing only one part
  • Relax, it’s not a competition
