Today you’ll be practicing movements like hip waves, circles and more. It’s important to drill your transition moves often as doing so will allow for smoother freestyle dancing. When you don’t have to think about your transition moves you can use these to catch your breath and think about what pole skill you’d like to do next.

These are awesome for warming up the pole. I usually body wave, pirouette & pole walk, I need to remember these!

I really love this lesson, working with the hips and the flowmotion routine make me feel more flexible and relaxed.

Doing this program at the moment to strengthen my weaker side. I like the active rest days. The hip waves are so beautiful, reminds me of my time I did belly dance ๐
Looking forward to my progress in my “bad” side (hopefully soon I have 2 good sides lol ๐ )

Really enjoyed this though I’m unable to touch my toes so trying to lay on my thighs is impossible at the moment I used to do alot of weights so have tight hamstrings too, would I benefit from yoga to help with this too, I’m basically wooden! X
That’s normal, it’s not necessary to touch the toes. Just keep working within your abilities and you’ll see improvement if you keep at it.

day 5 was great. i haven’t been in tune with my sensuality in a long time and these hip moves were making me feel pretty. Also thank god it wasn’t super active I am so tired and sore in the best way lol!
