Today you’ll be working on hands and feet during this active rest day.
Pro tip: Eating well is an important part of training and maintaining our well-being. Try looking for foods that are whole and when eating packaged food, avoid enriched products. The enrichment process actually removes the “good” natural stuff including vitamins and minerals that naturally occur. Then they add in synthetic garbage, including vitamins and minerals, just to prolong shelf life! Our bodies have a hard time processing the synthetic versions, which can lead to all kinds of health issues. Below I’ve listed a few snack ideas:
- No sugar yogurt and granola
- Cheese and whole grain crackers
- Peanut butter and apples
- Quality beef jerky and an orange
- Veggies and hummus
- Dried fruits and nuts
- Smoothies
- Kimchee or sauerkraut
- Edamame

What excellent well rounded instruction that goes much deeper than just pole tricks but takes every aspect of good health into account. That being said, I’m happy today is a “rest day” lol!

It was good to get back on the pole. I havenรขโฌโขt been on the pole for a couple of months. Initially bc I had shingles for about 3 weeks and then I was unmotivated.

The toe slider exercise was a lot more challenging on my left foot than the right – how unexpected

I ended up having to start this program over after straining my rotator cuff, and then getting Covid. Glad to be back working towards strength! Yesterday was challenging but I’m hoping to do things properly this time ๐
Glad youโre feeling better! I caught a cold from my son ๐ and had taken time off of exercise so seems like Iโll be starting over soon too! We got this!
