I had my old style x pole powder coated and they ruined it, so i bought a powder coated 45mm x pole. It’s fabulous, so grippy. I also have a powder coated r pole, also very grippy!

Mine is finally done. I use it on the bottom half of my r pole. It just about fits in my house but can’t wait to try it outside once the weather is better 😊

What an interesting thread. Serzi am really sorry you are going through this. There are definately more ‘intolerances’ recognised these days and there seems to be in general more interest in the subject. People are coming forward with problems that many may have been coping with for years but there were no answers available. This is definately something worth exploring Serzi. your body is constantly changing and intolerances can suddenly present themselves when previously there was no problem. A couple of years ago I began getting bad stomach aches, bloating etc. I also felt foggy headed a lot and sluggish. I eliminated gluten and found that this helped, these days that seems to have evolved into joint pain if I slip and eat something I shouldn’t have. Any way this isn’t about me, but I think a holistic approach is the way forward and thank you for the recommendations of books in this thread, I will be looking them up. I read a good book called Wheat Belly about the effects of gluten on the body of anyone is interested.

Hi I have the pole aria set and I currently have rigged them as a yoga sling/ hammock using 2 caribiners attached to the mini rescue 8 that comes with it. I have just completed the Spin City pole fabric instructor course, the content really helps with ‘what to do with them’ . It’s still fairly new but there are a few videos on YouTube now. Particularly from ‘Lifeofapoletrick’ 😀

It’s possible to hang a hammock from your pole also using a pole widget, Rachel Anstis sells them. I am going to try re rigging my pole aria into a sling in this way for aerial yoga 🙂

I have a mirror that’s about my height and was from the Range. Or you could always put 2 smaller mirrors together on the wall. I used to do that.

I run to, i started on boxing day and ran for 10 mins! i hated it. I persevered and hated it for probably about 3 months but now i run 8-10k 3-4 times a week. Theres nothing like that amazing feeling after a good run. I complete my splits stretches after running, have actually increased flexibility in the legs through running. built up stamina. It really is all good.

It really does becone an obsession! but he was just going through a tough time at work and vented it on me. Everything is fine, i still pole 2-3 times a week sometimes less, i also perform with fire which means i need rehearsal time for that too, i always make sure we have time together.

Mine is the middle room downstairs it is supposed to be dining room i guess but it has laminate flooring and an old fireplace its really pretty i decorated it especially. I have chin up bar in there too and space for hula hooping. Floorwork space is limited but have space to practise rolls and stretching. I also have 3 snakes and my pet rats in that room too, its cool and multifunctional. Oh and i have my signed photos and masterclass certificates on the wall framed and my shoes are on display too 🙂

Yep handstands for me too! With some moves though the only exit strategy is face plant! eg hummingbird. I have also been lifting up into forearm stands against pole but i rolled too far into pole with my back and rolled on my neck. I am scared to try this again as well now :-(.
