You know what Veena, you should have a sticky thread that explains the pros and cons of all the major poles available so that when people ask about what pole to get, what size and what finish they can just be directed there. Foxys video can also be linked so people can see what they’re in for with the peek a bo.

The chrome would be the closest to stainless steel but will be a bit more grippy then SS. Titanium gold has more grip like brass.
I have heard good and bad things about Lil mynx, so its nice to hear some good!! One thing to remember about buying a pole that is not in pieces would be the cost of shipping. My first pole was a one piece and the price of the pole wasn’t too bad but the shipping was a LOT!! If your staying in your home and know you want your pole in one place for a long time a lil mynx might be good. I love my X poles and never really move them so the set up really isn’t an issue. I have never tried a lil mynx but would like to, its great to hear their customer service is good. I like that. If you know you HAVE to take your pole down every time lil mynx might be a touch faster https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif You don’t have to disassemble all of the pieces of the X to take it down, you could just unscrew the top dome and be done with it. My big huge mirror is from my husbands closet door! I just pulled it off the track. The mirror with the silver around it is from Ikea. Ikea also has so cool small mirrors that you could put side by side to make a large mirror. I think they are about 9 bucks a piece. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

Now the x pole doesn’t have a vaulted ceiling adapter. Your ceiling needs to have a flat surface at the top, big enough for the dome to fit. Out of the box the X pole fits ceilings up to 9ft, you can get extensions that lengthen the pole up to 14 or 15 ft (I believe). I have a 12ft X pole..love it! Now the X stage is about 10ft total so its great for anyone with vaulted ceiling or with out door space. I have tried and X stage and really liked it. I hope to get one soon. One more thing, all of the X poles have spin mode, even the X stage!!

I would defiantly say something…I think keeping quiet would cause suspicion. You don’t want people thinking your being abused. Don’t call it pole dance because unfortunately most think Pole = sex job. I would go with aerial or vertical bar work out.
Be excited about it when you tell them, let them know how its sooooo hard, but the best work out EVER and so fun. Depending on the person, I will call my work pole dance, aerial tricks, or vertical bar sometimes I just say I’m a dancer!! If anyone thinks its trashy send them to the site….I don’t think it looks sexual or pornographic. They can even see examples of the lessons and how it can be just a work out! Remember they can’t watch videos unless they are a member. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif and most vids on here are not of the sexual nature very few…really only the amateur night challenges. Most other moms I have told about it get really excited and say "I have heard of that before" followed by "you can do it in your HOME??" You totally have to spin the exercise aspect of it!

Make sure the instructor teaches you proper technique. One thing that should be mentioned to any newbie is ….shoulder back and down. Have fun!!!!

I believe you sent me an email…yes PLEASE BE CAREFUL!! If find it really irritating that these big companies and celebrates endorse and sell such dangerous crap! Those poles are toys. That pole has been know to fall down on you, wreck your ceiling and cut you. Have fun but be safe.
