Naahh wrist burn will usually only happen when your doing advanced spins…if it even happens. Some new dancers might have troubles with it because your not use to grabbing the pole properly, but once you’ve learned the proper way to hold the pole, it will be a rare occurrence https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif

You can take a look at the sample lesson on the front of the site. This is how all of the lessons are broken down. I have had a few ladies email, one i think made a post here about it….letting me know that they were able to use the lessons without having a computer in the same room. I can’t say for sure that it will work for you but I know it has worked for others https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Does anyone know if Veena has Yogini or Aysha lessons? I don’t think all the lessons are organized into the different levels yet and I’m not sure if I’ve seen them somewhere or not.
The lessons have always been organizing by levels. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif If you watch the very first lesson that pop up, it will inform you on how to use the lessons. I have 2 for the Straight edge V, (aysha) one with elbow and one with forearm grips. This is an advanced move and there for is under the advanced lessons. The Yogini, isn’t there yet.

I mostly freestyle. When I do choreograph it’s very loosely lol. Here’s a few suggestions…
You can add more or less of course
Pick 3 spins
Pick 3 or more pole moves…this can include holds, inverts and such
2 floor moves
Then pick 4 transitionsWrite them down and work on mixing them around to fit the song! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_DJ.gif

Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that. I can’t imagine the pain of a miscarriage. Your pole family is here for you let us know if you need anything.
As for getting back to pole….take your time. Start off with strength work then on to pole holds. Enjoy the therapy that just dancing around your pole can give. Big hugs…..

You don’t need tge wrench, it only needs to be hand tightened.

OMG!!!! I AM SAD https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif ……YES the SIZE of the pole does matter!!!! I can’t do the Flag invert to save my life on my 45mm!!!!!!!! I popped right up on the 50mm..frick! So I guess what I’m trying to say is the smaller the diameter of the pole the harder the flag is. I just feel like I can get my top arm anchored https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif
As for obliques I like to use my fit ball anchor your feet against the wall turn sideways and do a side crunch. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rambo.gif I’ll have a lesson for it at some point among others.

Welcome! We have lots of new dancers here. Plus if you have a pole at home you can always take the online lessons! They are really designed to help the dancer who has never even touched a pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I still have yet to try it on my thinner 45mm so I’ll let you know if that makes a difference too. I have only accomplished it on a 50, but did it over and over. Fingers crossed the move gremlin doesn’t steel this one from me. lol
