@Pegasusaerial…you mean I didn't have to color the penis?!? just kidding. Yeah, only worry about coloring, the major muscle groups. Unless you really want to color the penis.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I like what ACE offers! I've been certified through them for about 10 yrs! Here is what I used, The Anatomy Coloring Book http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Anatomy-Coloring-Book/Wynn-Kapit/e/9780805350869 I am a very visual learner so being able to spend time coloring the muscles was helpful….and fun! LOL. Oh and studing in the bath has always worked well for me…not sure why. lol
You've just reminded me, I have a continuing Ed coarse I HAVE to finish soooooon! Off I go to study https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_geek.gif

A common problem for at home polers, is not warming up fully. For most people doing a good warm up and warming up the pole is important for grip. The pain will get better over time once your body gets use to it! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I thought I would upload a practice vid for you guys. I enter into the Marion Amber a bit differently than in other vids I have seen. I use a True grip. Skittles has a vid of her using the true grip as well https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/4f15d625-7cd0-45c2-8023-02c70ac37250

@ Wendym, It's common to have this issue when working with Split grips. If it hurts while performing the move, try using the "gun grip" for the bottom hand. Also make sure your not hyperextining the joints anywhere.
If it hurts after, try this. Don't over do it as Rixi mentioned. I recomend working on new moves no more than 5-10 times in a row, then move on to something else, to aviod over stressing the body. Don't work on the same move the next day, 1-2 times a week is better. Strong wrist are important and stretching the hands and forearms after pole sessions are important as well. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif
If your taking the lessons here is the first link of 7 exercises that will strengthen the wrist/forearms.

I don't know…I would think people would get together in chat to pole! I do know there were a few members meeting in chat for stretching sessions. You can even create a room just for your group.

You can use the webcams in the chat room anytime any day!!!!!!
