By back flexibility do you mean…bending forward as in to touch your toes? Or Wanting to increase the range of motion for moves that require you to bend backward…like the pole move the dove?

You can use your pole to build up strength! In my online lessons, I have a full body work out, using only your body weight and pole…no equipment need. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif So between them and working on your spins you can build up your strength. Just remember that anytime you use your muscles heavily you want a day of rest in between work outs, this include pole dance, because it is a full body work out. Veena, I have a credit at a local adult store and they carry lil mynx. Which one do you recommend? They have several models.

I would not recommend theses as an exercise for new polers. They are fine when done in a routine but there are much better ab exercises. If your advance in pole go for it…but not if your new to pole or exercise. To really get the full benefit out of ab work you want proper technique, otherwise I can just be wasted energy. This is a hard move to do properly so be careful. If you do insist on doing them on the pole be sure to alternate sides equally!!! Do you deliver to Norway? The only thing they have in the shops here are the peek-a-boo ones, and I’m having trouble finding anyone that ships to Norway without it costing five times more than the pole itself :S

You know what Veena, you should have a sticky thread that explains the pros and cons of all the major poles available so that when people ask about what pole to get, what size and what finish they can just be directed there. Foxys video can also be linked so people can see what they’re in for with the peek a bo.

The chrome would be the closest to stainless steel but will be a bit more grippy then SS. Titanium gold has more grip like brass.
I have heard good and bad things about Lil mynx, so its nice to hear some good!! One thing to remember about buying a pole that is not in pieces would be the cost of shipping. My first pole was a one piece and the price of the pole wasn’t too bad but the shipping was a LOT!! If your staying in your home and know you want your pole in one place for a long time a lil mynx might be good. I love my X poles and never really move them so the set up really isn’t an issue. I have never tried a lil mynx but would like to, its great to hear their customer service is good. I like that. If you know you HAVE to take your pole down every time lil mynx might be a touch faster https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif You don’t have to disassemble all of the pieces of the X to take it down, you could just unscrew the top dome and be done with it.
