AdministratorDecember 20, 2012 at 10:22 am in reply to: Another First For Pole From StudioVeena.Com!!!The 30 days is PERFECT for brand new dancers, or those who have had to take time off the pole. Seasoned dancers will benefit as well, it will help you also gain insight into how you can structure your pole sessions. There is no previous experience needed for ANY of the the lessons. You just start with the "Getting started" lesson and I walk you through from there.

Unless a pole is super tight you will not need to use hardly any momentum for Spinning pole. However, some poles spin more smoothly than others. You learn how to adjust for it. I never swing any limbs when using a smooth spinning pole, like you would on static. Again there are some spinners that are slower so you can use some momentum with those. But I know on my poles I don't need any extra momentum from the body. Here's a video with some tips for spinning poles. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Foam rollers are great, but they will not Heal an injury. It may help to use one before poling or stretching though.

Hi Jacquieapinz! Alicia is right, It's important to log your practice, she also has a nice progression listed for her sessions. Some members even use the blog section here to track their workouts and reflect. By blogging you have the added benefit of receiving encouragement from other members.
Yes, my lessons are placed in a progressive order. When you start you'll see the very first lesson is called "Getting started", this video explains how to use the lessons and helps you figure out how to structures a pole session. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
