Lightinwolf, Our first part of our travels will be through CA, however we are headed over there to see my newest little niece, (we haven’t seen her yet!) before we head towards North Dakota to see more family. It will be a fast trip through CA and to up to San Fran. If you know of a studio that would be interested in a workshop let me know and I can see if it would work into our schedule.
Allyson, from what I understand many times you have to pay a fee to use parks for workout gatherings. So yes, studios are the best option so I don’t end up with a fine!!

Yes, we will be posting our planned destinations for everyone and we plan on providing a place on SV so you can follow our travels. We are still planning out how we will go about taking requests for workshops, so those who are interested keep your eyes open!! Also remember we cannot possibly visit everyone, but we will do our best!!
Some basic options for workshops are: Pole, Flexibility, Chair dance and Hula hoop. For Chair and hula hoop, the studios would need to have access to metal folding chairs, and quality (no kids toy hoops) for hooping.

There are several previous discussions on this topic if you would like to do a search for more info. Here is one that I found https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/338
Always listen to your body, now is not the time to work on new things or push yourself. Congrats to both of you!!!!

Um, yeah I’m coming to Fargo!

I would love to but I HAVE to take a rejuvenation day today!

Work on both if you can, however I will say I suggest learning new inverts and even spins on static first. Inverts for safety reasons and spins on static because learning to get the timing and technique down for static can be really tough if you learn ONLY spins on spinning pole. 🙂 I show you both static and spin in the lessons here.

The white mount you see in the video is not the vaulted. You need to select the vaulted option when ordering your SV pole, it’s only 30 bucks extra. You will still receive the regular mount too and yes both mounts use only one screw!! I rent and I have 3 sv mounts up!!

Both xpole And our SV pole can be used on slanted ceilings all you have to do is purchase the ceiling adaptor! I have my SV pole on a slanted ceiling right now 🙂

Yep what Chem said!

Do you have the lessons here? If so I can share a bunch of links for lessons you can use to work on strength and mobility for the feet. It’s something that is often overlooked, but our feet are our foundation! 🙂

Nope, I leave mine up!! My family wasn’t always supportive some still have issues with all the poles in my home, but it’s your home. I feel if I hide it it’s only confirming to them that pole is dirty or something done in private. For a while my in laws refused to stay at our house because of the poles, however, they now stay and we have a good time even with a big ass pole in the main living space! 😊

I work out in the morning and often take a nap in the afternoon 💤

Thank you so much everyone! You never know how things will be received when you open yourself up like this, so it’s a relief and honor to read all of your replies. I really hope we can continue to encourage each other to pole for the love of pole and not for glory or status. I’ve seen beautiful dancers leave pole dance because they felt left behind and I don’t want anyone to feel left out, it’s a terrible feeling. I want pole dance to be a positive experience and be a source of pride, because even a pole sit is a challenge in the beginning!!
