I have use a 38mm and loved it! It is challenge for some leg holds but it was really fun! It does feel a LOT smaller than my 45 though. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_harry.gif

Ah thanks so much for your support Oliviaaa! It's common for studios have totally different names for moves. I stick to descriptive names and also include the common AKA names in the lesson descriptions. It's not wrong to use a different names. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif I have worked hard on developing a way to teach online that is easy for the user to follow and to progress by building strength first. I feel things like the twisted grip should be taught in person, because it isn't a neutral position.

Check to make sure your exhaling as you invert, its common to hold the breath and not exhale. Also while upside down keep breathing. Holding the breath can cause headache and high blood pressure as well. If your taking the lessons I give you cues for when to breath in this lesson https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/f7c4b192-b91e-11df-856f-001b214581be

Great Job, it's kinda neat you were dancing with live music, even though it wasn't the song you were planning on! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

If you have access and can afford to learn from more than one place I think it can be very beneficial. For example we have studios that refer their students to my lessons here to continue their training at home! As long as there is respect for all parties involved then go for it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif

Yeah Amy that was one of the changes.
I am in the process of removing family pics from FB today. I am done using it for anything other than business. I'll be posting more photos here so the members can get to know me better if they want. I really only have pole dancers as friends on fb anyway. I know there are people who want to leave fb but feel they will lose contact with others or miss out on things by not using it. To me that just seems like fb has control over you and not you over it…..kinda scary!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif
This pasted week I have spend my time here rather than fb and I am in a better mood and I have gotten to know people better on SV then I ever did on FB. That was somthing I never expected!

A video of you trying would be helpful for us if you have one. If your taking the lessons here is the link https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4d418b5f-164c-47a1-8758-18020ac37250 the POC's are: front of the Armpit, side of torso and low back.
I find most people don't realize you have to have the pole far in towards the middle of the low back. The farther around you can bring the hips and waist in front of the pole, the easier the Teddy is to holdl Try aiming to reach the pole with your butt crack!! LOL https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
