We've worked together he's so funny. I think you could get some great shots by sharing the 2 hrs, but if you have a choice and want the 2 then go for it!!

Yay!!! So happy for both!

I know the truth, and anyone who knows me, knows I would have no reason to be as underhanded as whoever this is.
I simply did what I was asked to do, test and compare side by side, this was Platinum Stages idea. I could careless what pole anyone danced on, dance on a tree for all I care.

These are both common and the leg throwing is a bit old school in my opinion. Both of these can easily cause injury. However, there are ways to do assisted or partner stretching safely, but for most of us, it's not necessary. If your ever uncomfortable with what an instructor does, you always have to listen to your body, there is nothing wrong with sitting an exercise out.

Sounds like your pole may be too tight.

No other exercise whipped me back into shape like pole dance.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Be sure you're taking time to focus on the core (abs AND back). After hauling around our baby belly, we tend to have poor posture. I had mid back pain until I got serious about conditioning my core. Feeding and carring baby tend to make us a bit hunchy too. LOL

Let's not beat a dead horse! I personally cannot support a company who encourages this behavior. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif

We do have buttons!! http://studioveena2.spreadshirt.com/large-buttons-A6999600/customize/color/1
Then you can put them on your bag, shirt, scarf, hat whatever you like. I love the bracelets idea too!!

All great advice, also make sure your pole and body are both warm. If you try the Crucifix with cold legs, and cold pole you'll slide. Good luck to you I'm sure you'll get it! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Almost anything you do from a CAR release you can do from a CKR…. so for those who don't feel comfortable with the CAR, don't worry that you'll be missing out on anything by not using that move. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

March is also a time to celebrate St Patrick's Day. The ol "pot of gold" at the end of a rainbow could be some fun inspiration too! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Great advice everyone! Sometimes backing off and stretching less is a good thing. It's not a race, so there's a benefit to being kind to your body and accepting where you are in your flexibility, AND pole journey at this moment. It's difficult to be content with where we are, but it makes for a more positive out look and then in turn, I think we end up seeing better results, because we're more relaxed with our progress and ourselves. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

That's very sweet of you PlatinumAni! I don't know that she had a favorite song, but she did like The Carpenters, she like Joni Eareckson Tada as well. My sister had a lot of health issues, so I think she could relate to Joni's and Karen's story's. But I would rather not think about those times. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif
I like to think of the happy memories with my sister…Pam was 18 yrs older, and took care of me a lot when I was little. She was very much like a 2nd mom to me as a kid. She let me stay in her apartment, in town, for weeks at a time, when I was just out of high school. I was still living at home, on the farm outside town, and she let me stay with her, so I could be closer to my boyfriend (webmaster)!! She even made us a romantic dinner or 2. Pam loved to do things for others and enjoyed making plastic canvas crafts for the family. Yarn and plastic canvas was everywhere…. oh and stuffed bears. She loved her stuffed bears! lol Every holiday Pam would send small gifts for my boys, her nieces and nephews were super important to her.
She was always willing to do anything for her little sister. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

You should do it Betsyevil, we would love to hear the song!

That was very pretty and you demonstrated control of movement which is great! I would add some floorwork into the routine and include some interesting transitions back up onto the pole.Really nice!!
