You’ll have 2 options once you sign up for lessons. You can do the 30 day take off program, or work through the lessons in order on your own. Both are part of the lessons package they don not need to be purchased seperatly 😊

Jamilla is a lovely person and great teacher, however if you are looking for a lot of content, you wont find more than a few moves on each dvd. There’s only so much info you can pack on to dvd. You’ll also find more than pole in the lessons here as well, and everything is place in the order in which to work on, so you progress by building the strength needed. 🙂

I would suggest using a split grip instead of twisted.

You can do whatever variations you need to, in order to make it through with the best form. That’s why I have different options. Nothing wrong with touching the ground if needed.

Hi Cardboard! Ah MN, can’t say I miss the humidity and bugs, but I love hanging at the lakes! The lessons here are a great place to start! Included in the lessons you’ll find a 30 day take off program that is perfect for new dancers….and as always, the lessons are in order and meant for total beginners with zero experience or strength! Here’s a video that explains the 30 day program.

Oh great stuff, I like her swizzle drop! If she wants to see a slow motion vid of the Tumble, this one might help her see a more secure hand and leg placement. That is if she isn’t trying to do something totally different! 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miehizFYT6k

In the rountie and combo section you will find
13 full length routines, by full length I mean longer than 10 mins of play time I. Average 25 mins in length. After those you’ll find 30 mini routines or combos as I refer to them. These are roughly under 10 mins play time. All full length routines are also found in each lesson section at the end, with the exception of the Pole Strength Routine, that can be found after the indevidual Pole strength lessons.

I like no muffin top!! 😜

I always try to use as many extention peices as I can, so I extend as little as possible.

Are you maybe doing a lot of spins and pole walks in a row? I think often when people home practice they don’t realize how often they repeat things they are comfortable with. It sounds like you have the lessons, are you following the 30 program, doing combos or routines, or just working on your own?

So happy to see this is still motivating to others! Thank you for the comments, you guys motivate me! xoxoxoxo
