I hope you find some of these suggestions helpful! Also if your hands aren’t slipping from sweat try making sure the pole and your hands are warm. It will also help you feel more secure once your grip strength improves. Check out the hand strength exercises in the conditioning section for help with grip strength.

Yeah, I’ve got about 5 from my Periscope broadcasts. If you go to my profile here https://www.studioveena.com/videos/index/bc36cd42-d89d-11df-ab19-12313b090e12 you’ll find them all. A good number of viewers just listen in at work 🙂

I agree cotton doesn’t hold up and tends to become too baggy, at least for bottoms. I don’t care about matching sets and I buy more bottoms than tops. I like bikini tops for pole. 👙

I hope everyones injuries are improving by now! Keep in mind ice is great for the initial injury and if you find there is swelling after using that muscle group. Heat works well for soothing and improving blood flow to areas like tendons, ligaments and lower blood flow areas. The theory is that by improving blood flow it can speed up healing, so for some, icing too often can slow down the healing process by decreasing blood flow. Massage and foam rolling after the muscle has been warmed is helpful too.

I have a 30 day take off program that’s included in any lesson package purchase! It’s perfect for new dancers or Rhodes getting back into pole. You can check out the lessons for 3 days free if you use this code GET3FREE! It only works once tho and I suggest starting by watching each getting started lesson so you’ll have an understanding of how they work.💻📱

    Happy thanksgiving to you too🦃

Yay! I have the black PC xpole but I never got the extension for it when we moved so I haven’t used it much! I’m happy to hear they had them available, last I knew they were not in stock! 💜

I love pole for the workout and expression for sure!

Happy birthday! 🎂 If you know you’ll be moving again xpole might be your best option, then you can add extensions or remove them if needed. I love the powder coat option on the lil mynx and it’s also a nice pole. So I guess it would be a question of what’s more important, finish or “move-ability” 🏡🏠

Yes, you can use an xpole with popcorn ceilings, I have. A few pieces may fall off when you set up or take down but it was not noticeable. If the popcorn texture is very big and thick you may have issues with the dome staying in place. You could always get the permanent mount for the pole.
