thats so funny I am working on this transition myself. I can do it but its not all that pretty. You need to place your bottom hand low and then pull your head through and sorta twist and I actually push my top hand into the pole for the butterfly

Wow that was amazing. I have also found the stretch in the book genius of flexibility to help me lower down too. But I definitely want to try this with the hubby. 🙂

Hi Milla wish I could give you advice but I have not had any elbow issues. Just wondering if its a certain move that causes the pain?

From Gemini you can swing the other leg into the pole and take the gemini leg off for open V into jade or you can go into pike and superman or pike and bomb or once you swing the leg around and take the pole arm off go into inner thigh hold then back to scorpio you can even turn it into a butterfly

I did not have a problem with my knee locking but i have a problem fully extending legs in a v. Alethea has a nice stretch which she calls the Felix stretch where you sit in a straddle on the floor push the knee into the floor with the opposite hand and flex the foot and pull it up with the same hand. Another stretch she has is to straddle then push back of knee into the floor flex feet off the floor and point. These have helped my open V to look a lot nicer. I also found a lot of this had to do with my flexibility too.
