I have tried about everything – I was a nair girl for at least a year. I would go in the bathroom on Sunday night, nair, paint my nails, pluck eyebrows – basically Lulus spa for about 30min. Ive been shaving weekly but its starting to get annoying quick. I bought a at home wax kit. It worked well, just not fun trying to wax your cash and prizes on your own. That im leaving up to the professionals. Ive not go problem waxing my legs.

I did do a few sessions of electorlyisis many years ago. I was an excellent candidate for it and after a few sessions I have spot on my legs where hair doesnt grow! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I finally bought them last night. I wanted the french manicure like the link I posted but they didnt have them. All they had were the holiday ones. Mine are a chrome/aluminum foil like color, the most plain ones they had. They were pretty easy to put on and file/sharp etc. I had 2 casualites that were easy to fix.

The only issue I may have is the reviews say they last for a few weeks but the box says 1-2 days. So far ive washed my hands, washed my face with them on so far. I havent tested them in the shower yet (I overslept this morning). Im liking them and I think I may start shopping at Sephora now. I could become addicted.

I normally swear by Mary Kay. I used to sell MK for a few years (which I stoped this year and I have plenty of stuff that needs good homes). Before MK, I wore the Mabeline Mascara (green cap, pink bottle) and that was it. Occasionally I wore color but I worked at a gym and had a young child – no reason for me to look pretty. I always got the giant makeup kits and the dollar store make up and used that. Now I wear foundation, mascara, eyeliner, one eye color and a cheek color. Im trying to get myself into lip gloss again.

I love MK products – especially the skin care. I have very oily skin, so bad you could fry an egg with it. MK was the first product that helped my skin overall. I love getting my makeup done and they mention how nice my skin is. I use the 3-n-1 cleanser, day solution with spf 25 and mosituriser. Its a bit pricey retail but to piggyback on Glitter’s post, I would rather have a better quality skin care regime than any thing. Its the foundation to your look. You dont build a house with an uneven foundation.

Im a huge fan of mineral makeup! I love the mineral foundation from MK, I use it as a powder to set my foundation when I go out. MK color is now all mineral, its long lasting and is great to apply wet or dry.

Im going to be checking out the MAC counter for the first time in a week – im having them do my makeup for my photoshoot on the 28th. Ive never been into the higher end makeup, but I want to give it a shot.

You wax at home https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_question.gif OW https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_exclaim.gif I don’t think I could do that to myself!!

The brows arent so bad. I buy the strips from Sally Hensen. You heat them up with your hands.

Anywhere else – I hire a professional. Learned that the hard way!

ok good to know there are some ladies who would like a tutorial! Since I am mexican and middle eastern I have the thickest eyebrows ever so I get them threaded at a salon….like I could win a contest if it was between me and Frida Kahlo for best unibrow…it’s seriously gross LOL so I need an extra pair of hands to help because threading gets all those stubborn thick hairs that don’t want to come out. But I do pluck them in between to keep up on the shape and I had to be tested on eyebrow shapes to graduate makeup school so I promise I won’t steer you wrong https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I should post a before and after picture so you can see them, it’s so bad!

Girl I am with you! I have the worst eyebrows, if they are not taken care of they will look very thick. The worst part of all is my eyebrows are blonde!!!

I never plucked/wax until have HS. Having blonde eyebrows can be a gift – you can get away with not tweezing for awhile. But since becoming an adult I do wax mine at home and do the plucking as well. I really want to try out the threading.

Momma…some of my favorite pole shorts are either the Gilligan O’Malley Seemless Boyshorts from Target ($9.99/2 pair)
    https://www.studioveena.comhttp&#58://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41RdqK9T87L._AA400_.jpg

or the Hanes Boyshorts (though I have been having problems finding these lately).

Target has different color ones depending on the season but beware of the lighter color ones as they are kinda see through.

Those are the ones I just bought! They had the lighter purple colors but I was worried about that as well.

I think im stopping by the Under Armor Outlet and checking out thier ‘shorts’. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

I say why not? I buy ‘sport underwear’ to use as pole shorts. I just bought a 2 pair pack from Target for $10! I am tempted to buy some Under Armor sport underwear for pole shorts.

Ugh, theres only so many hours in a day!

Chem – I like the exercise! Ive been doing those crunches the other way (elvated bench but my feet are up in the air), to get my body used to being like that. Im gonna add that to my list of things to do at the gym.

Ive been wearing 6 inchers pretty much as long as ive started pole. I started with a cone heel and got down to the skinny heels. I really want a pair of 7.5 inchers. Im 5’4 so I look for anything to get some height on me.
