I bought mine a size down from the street shoe. Since its plastic, its gonna stretch after many times on the pole therefore becoming loose if you buy them in your street size. Also when you go down you know they arent coming off.

Mine did come off while I was doing floor work, at that point I could of cared less. You can see the vid here on my profile, its under Pole Diva 2010.

I will be wearing them again for my Apr video.

I actually have a clear pair of Pleasers in the same style only in 8 inch heels. For me, A lot of times they do come off if I’m arching my foot a certain way, or doing certain moves. A lot of girls use ties to tie under the heel and up around the ankle…But depending on the material, You might not be able to then use that part of the shoe because it might slide.

I Personally prefer to get shoes that have the ankle strap. The material provides AMAZING stick, And the ankle strap allow me to climb in positions that I would normally probably slide in. Just some food for thought https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I buy exact size in pleaser… so it all comes down to personal preference/foot shape. If I bought a size down, the plastic would probably make my foot ache. But I also don’t have problems with loose plastic, even after my feet are hot and moist! They always shrink back to their normal positioning, which is deliciously tight! Mm!

And my feet dislike toe strap only shoes. More power to you women who can wear them, but mine will end up in the face of my dogs, through my window, in my face upon invert, on the pole upon climb, everywhere but on my feet. I think I just have a cone-shaped foot or something because they can feel like they fit perfectly but still fly off.

I wear a 7.5 in athletic shoes, but in heels I wear a size down. In pleaser and ellie, I buy a 6. And I am very pro-ankle strap… I too, would have dogs with heels stuck in them, broken pictures, windows, walls… you get it. I look at it as a safety feature for the rest of your house.

I wear a true 7.5 but buy 8 in the Pleasers, even in the clear plastic ones. The problem is (and it is a REAL problem because I loves me some clear shoes), once the plastic stretches a little bit, my toes start to moosh out over the outside. It’s super attractive. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif I don’t have particularly wide feet, but I do have longish toes, and this is what creates the problem, I think. My black Pleasers don’t do this at all, but then again they don’t stretch the way the clear ones do, either.

Ankle strap here all the way, for the wise reasons already mentioned. It’s bad enough that my critters run for the hills when I strap on my shoes–I’d hate to send a shoe flying and hit them when they thought they were far enough away to be safely out of harm’s way!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
