The first time I did a quick routine. Yeah it was basic but I was feeling it the entire time
the bet Jessalynn and I had when I could finally invert
when I first time I inverted and freaked out the other room
almost crying sometimes in class when I couldnt get the moves and watching everyone else nail the move
the first negitive comment I got on YT and laughed at it
the first time I was reconized from YT
when my boss found out I poled and I was a competitive poler! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cool.gif -
When crap like that goes down – I basically say they can suck it! When I get nasty comments in that nature, I just say to myself they can suck it and delete the email.
Jayjay – I would waste NO TIME on that negitivity! The cream always rises to the top!

Ill give my stats (again Lulu has no shame). Im 5’4 260lbs (yep the wii reminded me Im a chubby chubby). All my strength before pole was in my legs. I have been playing sports since I was 8. Youd think I have sick looking body but b/c I love food way too much, im still a happy curvy gal!
You have to remember your hauling alot of weight inverted – its your body against the pole. Think about climbing trees and such as a kid. What really helped was upper body exercises, I was able to land more moves that way.
I LOVE stretching!! I will spend 30-40min stretching everything! I have a new obsession with my foam roller – OMG my husband has been fired from massage duty b/c of the roller.

a very wise PT! I try to do some elevated push ups against my bathtub in the morning while im waiting for the hot water to heat up.
I did an hour on the wii fit yesterday. It didnt feel like what I did at the gym but my obilques are killing me today! I do about everything on the wii fit – my favs are the hula hoop (roll your hips in a circle to keep the hoop moving) and soccer for balance ( you lift your foot whichever way the ball comes to hit it).
I may keep up for it for a week and see how I liked it. They also make lots of games for it as well. Im slowly getting out of the husband sitting in the same room as me while im working out is creepy feeling. He was on the computer when I was on the Wii.

*blushes* awww, well thank you!
Theres a whole company called Big Girls Pole Dance Too, the owner also runs a studio as well. CurvyDiva runs Curvy Diva Fitness in IL.
We are one big loving family here!
With hard work – ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!! I will tell you there were days I thought I was not gonna get anything. Then there are days where it all clicks.

i thought that name on the jersey was some sort of abbreviation for "oven chicken". https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

they are all beautiful! i couldn’t pick a favorite.
sooo…. i guess you like hockey?I LOVE hockey! I did football ones last year with him, so I wanted to change it up. I have a serious crush on Alexander Ovechkin. If I wasnt married, I would be a total hockey groupie! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
I love them all! I worked really hard to get my body back (I gained 80lbs in my last pregnancy) and I was damn proud about how I looked now. Im totally cool being a curvy gal, but if I get smaller I wouldnt complain! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
Horsecrazy – It can happen. Ive been bendy pretty much my whole life. Ive been playing sports since I was 8, I think ive taken maybe one year off from sports.

I love Muscle Milk after a work out b/c I get very hungry after im done working out. I will get my eat on if left unattended. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif It really helps curb my hunger post workout. Im also a person who has the late night snack when I get up in the middle of the night, so when I have that and work out – I actually sleep better!

My husband is a former personal trainer and has a degree in Exercise Science, so he helps me ALOT when it comes to diet/nutritrion and exercising. The one thing my husband has drilled in my head is protien is your best friend. After a workout he always recommended I have a protien shake – when you work out you lose protien and you need to gain it back. Im a HUGE fan of muscle milk – that stuff is like liquid crack to me! I will work out just to drink it later! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
One thing that has helped me is eating clean – avoiding junky foods alltogether. I read the labels, nuturition facts and serving sizes -that helps alot! I know when im wanting Oreos I end up reading the nutrition info and walking away. Its enough for me to say no.

Im gonna hold off a bit and see what else I get for Xmas – it should be mostly money since I said I would rather pay my bills than have gifts. Id rather get ahead wherever I can. I should have it by the beginning of 2011
