I always crank the heat before I work out. It helps because if it is cold, I will not even want to pole. I light candles to help too. I use to help with grip on a cold pole and in 10 minutes I am hot and turning the heat back down. It works!! I also schedule skype sessions with ladies from here.

I would love leg warmers that are that long!!! Where did you find them? I find that thicker material stays up better. Thinner material rolls a lot.

I also am 5'7. I will not wear any taller than 6 invh heels and sometimes feel like an amazon, but oh well. The pole dance shoes are more comfortable than regular heels, to me anyway. They even have arch support. It is amazing. I have to wear the ugliest shoes in real life because I have lower back and foot arch issues and I can not wear regular heels. The pole dance heels are padded in all the right places. I agree that gel insoles are a great way to go. I have them on every pair of shoes I own.

It is so normal and you got one of the slickest finishes there is. You may need a grip aid to help with grip.

I will throw my two cents in here! I LOVE shoes. I like how they look and I love wearing them. I do find wearing them to be a challenge though. EVERYTHING is harder in them. Everything. Since I like to perform in them, I try to be able to do everything in them. SOmetimes I learn a move barefoot then try it in heels. There are still some things I can not do in heels. Cartwheel is one of the moves. I even feel like inverting in them is awkward. I love it though because once I CAN do those moves in heels, I will know practicing in them has paid off.
I do however like to dance once in a while in my bare feet. If you keep pretty toes it can be quite elegant and change the whole performance!

Also, the Diva shorts with the blue on the sides seemed to fit better than the side tie ones. I think they would probably be ok on you.

I am a 27 waist and size5-7/4-6 but I have huge thighs. It is hereditary. If you have normal thighs, yes. I think they would. What is your hip measurement? Do you know? That is another big issue for me.

Idk if you all are on carpet or hard floor but when you first out them up in carpet they adjust and compress it down and it gets loose. Once you tighten it again it shouldn’t happen. On hard floor I would say just do it tighter if it is falling.

WHat sight are you ordering from?? Remember to rub your hnds together a lot first and test the grip. I don't want you to fall either!!!

I have been poling 4 years and can do most of what she does. Excluding a couple things. She has more flexibility than I do currently.

I like that video too. I have it saved in my favs. The thing about pole is, everyone progresses at their own pace. Some get to this level in a year. Some 5 or more. I will tell you that flexibility is very important to work on and work on often. EVERYTHING is easier if you are more flexible.
