It also helps me to do this move if I have my top arm lower down, like closer to my chest as opposed to higher up by my head. This might be how everyone else does it too and I’ve just never paid attention so it might not even be new advice but experimenting with your hand placement might make you feel a little more stable.

ooh i love this thread actually. i know its hard to expose yourself when you dont have a perfectly flat tummy and i went through the same issues but it really is easier if you expose more skin. no one here would dare judge you or say anything mean, we are all supportive of each other. and im not a small girl either, just check out my videos, my cellulite and antonio (my belly is named antonio! hahah) like to come out to say hello to all my video viewers https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif and if anyone does try to say anything rude veena will delete them. but just know you have other curvy girls here who have your back!

yep aerial inverts are a pain in the butt!!! but roxy pink is giving good advice, i couldnt do an aerial invert until i could lift myself into a chopper for a few weeks and then one day i finally got it. ive been a big fat slacker in the ab workout department lately though so i need to follow my own advice here!

Grr! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif He probably played that clip because he hasn’t had a girlfriend in ages and when/if he gets one, she will definitely not be a sexy pole dancer like any of us awesome ladies!

Well, on the same hand, I don’t think it’s fair to Veena for people to go to her lessons and look at the title of the moves and then Google them so they can learn how to do them without having to pay for them either. The lessons are really the only way Veena makes any money from this site and I can only imagine how much she and Webmaster pay for the bandwith each month since this website is growing bigger and bigger every day. I’m not trying to sound rude or pick fights with people, I just think Veena should be compensated for all the time and effort she put into making those lessons!

I have to agree with Veena on this one, it’s pretty difficult to tell if you’re performing the exercises safely if you can’t actually watch the videos. I wouldn’t really recommend trying to decipher the content by the title of the video. The $20 trial is a great option to preview them, I bought them even though I could already do most of the moves and they were helpful for moves I hadn’t gotten to and also corrected things I was doing incorrectly. And if you can’t afford that, free weights, and exercise ball and a pull up bar are great things to use until you can get a pole!

I know this doesn’t have anything to do with me but it does seem like changing a username would be difficult for the site. I know they did let Foxy do it but I think she was one of the only people that asked and I very distinctly remember Veena saying she would make an exception for one or two people that time because there was no rule about it but after that incident she was instating the rule that usernames could no longer be changed.

Awww you’re so sweet!! I wish I would have gotten to spend a whole day with you so I could take some yoga classes with you but next time I am in town I will make sure that happens https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Oh everyone reading this Yogabeachbabe is super sweet and took me on a little car tour of Las Vegas and even brought me some Jamba Juice! I felt like I had known her forever and there was lots to chat about…she even directed me toward an amazing showgirl supply store that offers pole classes so if anyone is in Vegas you need to check that place out!!!

Ive had this problem too…you have to tighten the screws super tight, like after you screw them in all the way and they wont keep moving, try to turn them a little more. My pole did the same thing after i screwed them in but if i tighten them again after ive screwed them in all the way, then my pole is stationary. good luck!
