My first pole was a painted finish, and now I have the titanium gold- and I agree with Veena, always sticky(the paint finish)- almost always good grip. With my titanium I find that I'm having to take a lot more time warming up not only myself, but the pole more than anything.

oh yay! I remember watching your video and absolutely loving it! I so excited for this- though I may need a few attempts lol..
-
Jeeeeeez, uhh so sketch.
Thanks for sharing Lyme because I will definitely be keeping an eye out. I've been putting more and more pole things on my FB, I think they are private though.. hope so!

Janeiro!!!!!!! uhhhhhhhh i cannnnot get my top foot over the pole without help. With help I've got it no problem but without I fall off everytime I go to get that heel around the pole, soo frustrating

That one looks just like a regular ballerina, once foots grabbed, bend the hooked leg?
-
also, Pixi Lou does amazing Jallegras 🙂
-
Not quite, hm, hard to explain… i have a video I think third one from most recent (lol if that makes sense) where I do it first attempts and its labeled, if you already know what a regular allegra is 🙂

I did p90x for about a month and was so sore everyday that I couldn't even pole, but when I stopped doing it I got so many moves like sm, and ayeshas that I couldn't get before. Its worth it, and so are Veena's lessons!!!

Shoulder mount to eg ayesha, gemini, jade, allegra, and now i can add on jallegra lol! that was my go to combo for awhile couldn't even get on the pole without doing it. Unfortunatly I've slacked off for about a year now and have lost my sm, but am working hard again to get it back! 🙂

HOLY COW! I think she did every single advanced to extreme move that there is in pole in one single routine!

I like that Hazelnut- I mean when I first read this I was like yeah i'd love to have some amazing mentor to help me along. I mean i've really just been chugging along by myself.. but I definitely shouldn't harbor my knowledge and I think I could help someone else who is trying to learn what I have already.. and I haveee been poling over a year now (though life made me take some time off.. ) lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Do any of you ladies live in Florida? East Coast???

Sounds awesome, I have a could of pictures that I think would be perfect for this.. Let me know if you are interested in using one of them 🙂

uhhh, I loveee this move! i have tried it less than 10 times and never gotten it on my own, but my studio instructor guided my top foot once and once you get that foot over, you got it! it feels so good, can't wait to get it on my own! lol, just ordered my first xpole, and cannot wait until it gets here!!!

Veena, I just read what you wrote!!! My first pole did that, and I called the store I bought it from and they replaced it for free, and the second one did the exact same thing. it sucks!!!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif unfortunatly i've gotten used to avoiding that spot. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif
I'm very close to have saved for my tg 45mm xpert https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I have a pink dance pole too… its not a "partypole" but a similar type. I have tile floor and bought a toilet flange that fit the base and had my boyfriend drill into the tile, and another brace on top with extra bolts around the actual base which has bolts too. its loud, and doesn't spin however i'm never afraid it's going to come down, and the grip is awesome (:

I have this problem too, like by the end of m 1 hr class.. my shins will be sweating to where its impossible to climb. I bring a towel too but don't like to use grip aids. I have a pair of gloves but really onle use them for cartwheels at the end of class.
I wondered if i just sweat too much? but i think the hydration thing may also be a problem for mee.. i really should drink more water.. hm.
Then again I do live in S florida and the average temp right now seems to be around 90 degrees, but the class is set at 71. i wish it didn't effect m daning thi much, and its a recent thing for me too…

Haha, Chem.. Church is a good one! I try to pole anywhere/everywhere that has a pole i can (almost) fit my hands around haha

Yay 😀 we are all normal people outside of our obsessions with pole! hahaha,
Wellll, I work as a medical scribe/medical assistant in an ophthalmologists office. fun stuff. I am also a full time student currently with a pre-med major. My ultimate goal is to become a Physician's Assistant who is secretly an awesome pole dancer aha <3

I have had my belly ring for years and it has a dangle component and have never had a problem with it and i am rather agressive with my moves.. inverts etc.
-
Can someone put a link to her Facebook page with the pictures? i can't find…
-
I agree with Pegasus, and personally I would rather pole WITH people. i love when my boyfriend is around because i can show him the new things I am working on and what i've learned recently. its becomes more of an interactive thing for both of you to be happy about , (and him more to be happy becuase you are happy), I totally understand what you mean.. i think I am addicted to poling but i don't pole everyday i get sore otherwise and can't perform to my full potential but i do talk about it all the time, so i get it, but work it in like a normal thing and it will become that (:
