I had to build my core up before I got up there so maybe some core strength is needed. Have you tried practicing it from the ground? Veena has some great lessons on shoulder mounting and core workouts. 🙂

I had just spilt with my bf at the time he had put me down soo much so I went on a local pole dance website because I really wanted to try it for fun but then also read that it builds confidence, which I seriously needed after being told I can’t wear this or that and soo on .. Thanks to my family I finally saw the light and got rid of him and went on to start pole and build my confidence. The pole community has been so great I do not regret ever starting pole it’s really helped me mentally and physically made me feel like me again 🙂

Hello and Welcome!! Well it’s been a good year on the pole for me I have to say I got closer to my splits, I got a new pole move (Allegra) and my climbs and air inverts have come on really well. Plus I joined this site and started the lessons so I have now gained a bit more knowledge about pole. On the negative side I’m no where near getting the pole moves it have on my wish list but I will keep training hard! Just thought I would share this with ya it’s reflecting on 2013 and congrats on winning the scholarship!

Well I’m very frustrated at the moment I have been a loyal customer at my pole studio now for a good while and I find it so annoying that we have no heat during the winter term 🙁 I refuse to go to the studio because it’s not healthy to train in a freezing environment. It’s the only one in my area and I have no choice. But one thing I’m happy to say is I’m so glad I found studio veena so I can train from home. As I would like to compete or even teach some day when I’m at a higher level of pole.

There’s an app called splice on iPhone I have used that before to edited clips and it lets you put music over your vids. I use windows 7 movie maker too that’s free to download and easy to use. I hope this helps.

fusionforpole.com/ I use the vegan one from this website you can try samples too. They have helped my recovery after pole classes but I don’t take them often as my diet is good and if your diet is high in protein you don’t need to take supplements. Maybe your doctor or a dietician would be the best person to help you decide weather you need one or not. At the mo I’m trying to find good natural sources of protien rather than use the drinks, I have heard it’s better for you if you try more natural souces like flax seed. Hope this helps.
