My shoulders and arms have gotten very muscly hehe. My legs are more defined and I also beat my boyfriend all the time now when we are play fighting , he calls my arms “the iron fists” lol. My waist has lost about two inches and my bum is tighter. I’ve been poling two years now. Not to mention constant calluses on my hands too, it’s only now I can cope with them lol pole has honestly changed my life.

Thank you very much guys I think the forearm grip now looks a bit safer. It’s so scary letting go with the legs to move them up but practice makes perfect I guess!! Thanks for the responses 🙂

You know what, I love the idea. I have actually started a before and after process. About 6 ,on this ago I took a pic of me just in my bra and pants and I plan to take another the same time next year. Time will tell what part of my body has changed. I love this idea. I always wanted to see before and after pics out there and there’s hardly any, so yeah I would defo do it but on one condition, my head wasn’t shown in the pics but that can be easily edited out. It’s only the body changes we are looking for!

To be honest with you I think it’s just personal preference. A girl entering a competition in a curvy girls section would need to be fully accepting of re body and proud. It’s scary believe me I’ve battled with myself for years I’m too big. Now that I’ve found pole I don’t care, I wear crop tops on the pole which I wouldn’t do any other time- this is a big deal lol. But yes, I would enter a section devoted to curvier girls because let’s face it, although we can do all the same moves, be the same strength as the smaller girls, I myself cannot going myself around as they do. I don’t find it offensive at all a category specifically aimed for girls like me because we are all different and there’s nothing wrong with being a bit bigger. The only thing to be careful about is what u call the category. For me I’d say ” the curve-luscious category” , just a thought 🙂

Xylina don’t give up! It took me two years to get my air invert and the other girls in my class had it first go. Everyone is different that y I don’t focus on other people and what they can do. I just focus on me and what I can do. And 2 years later I am starting to become a dancer, which I never thought would happen!!

I’ve even checked the shopping centres here and there’s nothing. Heading to Glasgow next week though so hopefully I can get some there. I’ve checked eBay skull and I managed to find a pair of Alice in wonderland over the knee socks which I just had it have lol.
