I bought it because my wrist was sore from using my mouse at work. It helped a bit.
I bought it at a drugstore. It was like $15 or so (I think). -
My Pleaser platform sandals fit just fine, and they’re a size 7. I bought a size 7 pair of knee-high boots and they are a bit snug. My toes are a bit squashed in them, yet I’m finding that my heels are lifting a bit.
Should I exchange them for a size 8, or will they stretch out a bit? Or should I try to stretch them myself?
I bought the Kiss 2023 boots, in case that makes a difference on whether or not they will stretch! -
OMG!! Those are so high!! I thought the 6" were high, those are like 7.5"!!
Wowza!! -
I just bought a pair of Pleasers and they fit true to size for me.
I’m a 7 and I bought a 7 and they fit perfectly.
All the other 7’s I tried on in the store fit well too.
But if you’re having problems, the hair drier thing works well. You can also try stretching them by wearing socks when you wear them for the first few times until they stretch out. -
I highly recomend buying the release tools.
They are freaking AMAZING!!! I was shocked at how well they work. Can you move it with it being intact? If so, then just do that and order some release tools and use them to take your pole apart after they arrive.

Thank you so much for all the suggestions!
I will check them all out this afternoon!
Thanks again! -
I go to Aradia Fitness in Edmonton, Alberta.
I find their poles are WAY slipperier than my chrome X-Pole that I have at home.
It makes no sense, because the brass is supposed to be grippier, but to me it’s not.
I don’t know if it’s because maybe they’re worn out, or maybe it’s the air conditioning or heating or something, I’m really not sure. I get so frustrated at class because I can’t do anything because I’m constantly sliding down the pole. I don’t have that problem at home, so I don’t know what the difference is.I was originally looking at Aradia poles too, but they are WAY too expensive for what you get.
I got a chrome X-Pole because it is both static and spinning and because I can pack it up and bring it over to my friends house, even if they don’t have the same ceiling height that I have. -

I was so worried that I would be SOL if I were to get a high ceiling!!
Now I have no worries!!
Bring on the houses with high ceilings!!! -
Getting the pole cold might help. It’s supposed to shrink the metal and make it easier to un-screw.
Grab a bag of frozen veggies and hold it on the joint that you’re trying to un-screw until it’s cold. Then try it again. -
I’ve been scanning through YouTube to see if anyone has posted videos and I haven’t been able to find anything yet!
Why don’t they allow video taping? Is USPDF creating a DVD of highlights or something?
Congrats to the winners and to everyone who performed! -

Do you just wipe it with the soapy water and a cloth, or do you submerge it in your bathtub and clean it that way?
Thanks! -
I just ordered the Dara Torres DVD!! I can’t wait to get it!
I’ve been stretching for the past few months and I really haven’t seen much improvement in my flexibility at all!
Hopefully this will help!!
Thank you to everyone who recommended this, I hope it helps! -
Have you tried using a moisturizing body wash? I’ve found that that has really helped my dry skin during the winter months.
On days that I have Pole Class I don’t use hand lotion and I find that my hands can get really dry. Sometimes my knuckles will be so dry that the skin would crack and bleed. To help that I lick the spots on the backs of my hands where my skin is the dryest, mostly on my knuckels. It helps to moisturize without adding on greasy lotions.
Where is your skin the dryest?
Sometimes when I apply lotion I use the backs of my hands instead of my palms. Then I don’t have to worry about slippery hands! -
I just use a tea-towel and some Windex on my chrome X-Pole, so I’m not much help!
But I googled to see what Chamois was, and apparantly it’s just the leather from the Chamois animal (which is like a mountain sheep).
My only concern would be the oils that would be in it due to the whole tanning process. Unless it is synthetic, then I wouldn’t worry about it. It won’t scratch your pole. It says it’s non-abrasive.Just FYI, this is what I found on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chamois_leather
I think it sounds like a great cloth the wipe your pole with. How much did you pay for it at Canadian Tire?
